So there is no less than 3 of us from Elmore County? Talisitider, good to speak to you again. Jdpas29, I'm originally from Eclectic, what say you?

The name, "TideRollsInVa", kind of speaks for itself.
Count me among the Elmorons. I'm in Titus.

I'm in the SCV-MC (Sons of Confederate Veterans - Mechanized Cavalry), a motorcyle rider group within SCV. Nathan Bedford Forrest (NBF) was the greatest cavalry officer to ever ride in a saddle, for either side.

Well, my screen name is a bit more interesting than some, but a bit corny...

When I was two years old my parents were moving us from UGH, NEW YORK to Alabama. Well my name is Alan and I couldn't pronounce Alabama and called it Alanbama and it stuck. As for the 27, it's my birthdate and lucky number.

I grew up in Tuscaloosa, a few doors down from Coach Bryant when he lived in his first house in T-Town (from '57 to about '68 or '69, when he moved to a tonier section of town). So, I was in the neigborhood of the greatest college football coach ever, thus in_the_'hood.

Well I'm female

and I am too full of Alabama. Everyone calls me "Ms. Alabama" where I work and Bamabelle just seemed to fit. I'm here in Georgia, but am and always will be an Alabamian first.

Mine is from " Yea Alabama " , (dixie's football pride) some folks on here have asked me if it is the name of an infamous bar. If it is, it's one of the few i've never staggered out of.

:biga: RTR

Mine is an old nickname from high school. Eddie was taken from my last name and my football coach used to call me Little Eddie because I was one of the smallest on the team. Well, there was a go-cart racetrack in town that went by the name of Fast Eddie's (it's still here), so my teammates started calling me Fast Eddie just to play off of Little Eddie. It was no secret that I was not very fast at all (I was about 120 lbs and played guard, corner, kick team, slow running back on scout team - it was a very small high school), so I was dubbed Mediocre-speed Eddie for a while. Since I was a long haired rocker that played music & Mediocre-speed Eddie was a mouthful, the fellas finally settled on "Cool Eddie". The coaches, however stuck w/ Little Eddie, but even my math teacher called me Cool Eddie until I graduated.

Well..

I was using Tider-n-hsv on another forum. Was going to use that here but it was too close to TIDE-HSV.
I got bachelor's and master's degrees from UA in '94 and '00. So I went with Bama-94-00. Nothing fancy.
Ah I usually use my name or something based on my name (Jeff F.)

It...

would be OK. There are a lot of similar names. As I said, I've had this one since before Al invented the Internet (10+ years). If I'd seen where the 'Net (and Huntsville) were going, I'd probably tried for something less generic.

I guess...

...mine speaks for itself.

TIDE-HSV and BAMA-94-00, I'm a Huntsvillian as well. Some folks knock it, but it's a great place to live.
