Typically, Bama releases the schedule around Labor Day.
Some of the non-conference schedule is known -
SEC-Big East Challenge:
Georgetown (12/5) in B'ham (double-header with Aub vs W. Va.)
@ Texas A&M (TBA) begins 2 yr home & home
Clemson (TBA) begins 2 yr home & home
George Washington (TBA) begins 2 yr home & home
Las Vegas Tourney:
Wofford (12/17) in T-town
UT-Pan American (12/19) in T-town
Missouri State in Las Vegas (12/22)
TBD in Las Vegas (12/23)
Last I heard, CMG was looking for one more major-conference opponent for a 2 yr home & home (willing to start the series on the road)
We're trying to increase our SOS.i would love to see bama play syracuse

Mercer is in Macon, Ga which is close to Irwinton (home of freshman Senario Hillman) and Swainsboro (home of 2008 commit Tony Mitchell).
I've noticed Gottfried follows a lot of what Smith did. CMG, like Smith, also schedules teams with different styles to get ready for tournaments.Ah, thank you. That make's sense. This was one of Dean Smith's scheduling philosophies at UNC. That's how we got the home game with UNC in '89.

I really like how these teams schedule games near the players hometown. I remember UNC going to play in Cleveland for Jawad Williams. Really random.
