Hey folks...while I am awaiting my Tide Pride status, membership or whatever it is I am reduced to waiting for when tickets go on sale in June or July. So my question as stated is does anybody know when tickets will go on sale for us common folk?

TIA

I would like to know as well. I'm stationed in Oklahoma and would love to take some leave and take my 5 year old son to his first Alabama game!
:BigA:

I hate to say this but if this year is anything like last year it will be very, very hard for folks not in TP to get single-game tickets. There MAY be a few here and there for games like Florida International where the visiting school doesn't use their allotment. If you wanted to get tickets for sure, I would actually advise calling the visiting schools and see when they put single-game tickets on sale. There have been a lot of folks on TideFans who have gotten tickets that way in the past.

If not, there's always eBay and StubHub... but if you just come to campus you can usually get in the stadium for face value or less for any games other than LSU, Tennessee or Auburn.

Good luck!!

Justa wild guess here, but I think sometime in 2009 ..............sorry I couldn't help my self

I'm with 3414,
FIU and North Texas were two of the worst teams in division 1. UtChatt is terrible and also looking at reduced shollys due to APR.(matter of fact they are in Ind now meeting with NCAA).
Go to their websites or even call their ticket office, and find out when single away game tickets will be sold and you may get in the lower level of the stadium.
UT Chatt being division 1-AA usually does not sell away game tickets through their ticket office. But larger games such as Alabama they will get an allotment. So when you may want to talk with them early so they know how many tickets to request from the Bama ticket office.
There should be single games tickets for these three games on the Bama site sometime around the first of August.

Available single game tickets went on sale around mid-July for the 2008 season. If I remember correctly all remaining tickets were sold out in less than half an hour; however, Auburn was the only game not available when tickets went on sale.

I'm also on the TP waiting list. Last year they gave those of us on the waiting list first chance at single game tickets. I bought a four game pack which included KY and MSU. So I hope they do that again this year. RTR :BigA:

Really? How did you get that chance? I never got a call or email telling me I could do that.

I'm also on the waiting list and I got the Tide Pride email. I could have bought all home games except for auburn. I bought Tulane, Ky., Ole Miss, and Miss. St. I hope that they give us first shot again.

i know the guy that posted was more talking about single game tickets, but i see the thread has moved towards people that have been on the waiting list for long periods of time. i've posted this before because i know that everytime i tell this story other people had no idea you could do this..... read below.

if you are tired of being on a waiting list like i was for over four years then this is all you have to do. call ronnie robertson (rrobertson@ia.ua.edu or 205.348.9018) or brenda vaughn (tidepride@ia.ua.edu or 348-6113) and tell them that you would like to give a "large gift" to the universities "tide pride" program or to the "a+ incentive" program. for that you will get certain honors and one of those is to be immediately included into tide pride.

i waited for over four years. got sick of waiting one day and got someone on the phone and asked if there was anything i could do. they directed me to the right person and within one day i was a member of tide pride. my donation was tax deductable and i was able to sell the tickets that first year and make back that donation. since then though.... i haven't sold one ticket.

Did you offer a certain amount or did they suggest an amount? Just curious cause this is something I could do to a certain extent.

Wow, Dude. What club did they put you in?

Tix go on sale in late June or July. I am still in "waiting" mode at TP and get single game tix through the ticket office the day they go on sale. We were able to get Ole Miss tix that way in 2008 and Arky tickets in 2007 that way. The non- conf games are always available and usually one of the SEC games, too. I go to the home opener (usually a bad team) and a confernce game every year without having to go through stub- hub.:BigA:

There was not a game last year at which there were not folks selling tickets on the street before the game. Kentucky tickets (upper level, north 20 yard line, midway back) 30 minutes before kickoff were selling for $50. Obviously, Barn tickets were going for a good bit more.
