Gus has to know after the roller coaster this year that he has no job security. He could use his success to leverage more control over the Arkansas program, because the PTB's at Auburn will never let him have any.Depends on how the SECCG goes. I think that Gus is still headed out the door if they lose. Then I could see Petrino at Auburn.
Think about it - just 2 years removed from a trip to the NCG & mid-season there were those clamoring for his head. Don’t think that’s a healthy work environment, but that’s just me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Gus has to know after the roller coaster this year that he has no job security. Can't see Jimbo going to UT, but would bet on aTm...!I could see Tenn or A&M depending how this goes with Jimbo.
All I can say is ol Gus needs to get out while the getting is good. If he somehow comes up short next year on some key games, the masses will be calling for his head again. Just don't see why he would stay in a scenario like that. JMO.I just do not think Gus heads to Arkansas this year, but if he should miraculously leave then you can send the auburn plane or tractor to Louisville.
I agree, U of L has a lousy D, and has always been marginal, Spotty inconsistent performances, hasn't been able to complete the deal. I can't see any SEC team come calling, 'cept maybe the vawls.Louisville
