I heard that Ingram would be splitting time with TR. Did I miss something? Is Glen Coffee gone? Did he graduate already? Did he decide to go pro? Is he injured?

Coffee went Pro and was invited to the NFL combine with four other Bama players. Welcome back to Earth....LOL

You appear to have missed that Glen Coffee has filed the requisite documentation to make himself eligible for the NFL draft.

Also, did you know that your username is an anachronism? :conf2:

Let me guess...

Stranded on deserted island?

Abducted by aliens?

Held prisoner in your basement?

Getting over a 3-month long drinking binge?

    (Just yanking your chain... :))

Wow! I feel like a midget now after all of those responses! :P I check this site often but the "Coffee going pro thread" must've slipped right past me. As for the username, I've come to realize that it's now outdated.

well no not out dated but he (has been) pummeled twice in 2 years. I know you seen those 2 right? Next up? here lame kitty kitty!

I absolutely saw those two!! I just can't believe I haven't seen anything about him mentioned while reading about any of our running back prospects. I never saw it mentioned around the same time that Andre Smith declared. I guess he just got lost in the shuffle.

He kind of went against my best interests (if not his) in declaring early.

I worked up an eight hundred word post on why it was a bad idea; but then I just deleted it without posting. (Not really).

He runs hard, though. He ran hard against the Gators, and he ran hard against Utah, too.

I wish him the best personally, but that doesn't mean I'll follow his pro career closely, or "root" for his team (whichever one that ends up being).

OK, so I did some research. The whole "Glen Coffee declaring for the draft" thread is WAAYYY back on page three and the most recent post was on January 12th. Forgive me but I haven't heard anything about it since! He's got to be the most quietest declaration for the draft I've ever known. It just dumbfounds me. I guess it just surprises me soo much because I just don't think he's ready.

Anyway...I'm off my rant and I'll quit sounding like a whiner now!

A good bit of the discussion went over to the recruiting board where we talked about what a great opportunity it would offer Trent Richardson if he came to Alabama with the loss of Coffee.
