Who do you want Bama to get in the Bowl?

If this ranking is not a wake up call I don't know what is. This better motivate some butts to spend the off season studying film and working out more than ever.

And I don't care where the barn ranks. I only care about us. Talk about some adversity. Better man up now for sure!!!

Yep, and some of you guys say the committee doesn’t have agendas. This was the “find a way to leave Bama out” year from the start. Now they put a 3 loss Auburn ahead of Bama just to block NY6 bowls.

Eh... I was upset when I just found this out, thought about saying something about how absurd it was but just couldn't muster it. Refs or not, we absolutely wet the bed in the only two serious games we played this year.

How is it absurd that a two loss team with zero victories against a ranked team is 12th?

Just curious about the outrage.

I don't care - in both losses Bama had multiple chances and didn't capitalize. Kudos to LSU and Auburn for doing so when Bama wouldn't...

Maybe this will inspire our guys to go out and whip our bowl opponent 99-0.

Michigan is an intriguing matchup. Out of all the possibilities, I like this one. We owe them.

Last time we went to the Citrus bowl we were in a similar situation that we are in this season. If you remember be destroyed Michigan State.Played with a chip on our shoulder.Of course that was before it was cool to skip out on your bowl game as to not get injured. There are worse places to be on New Years than Orlando.

I don't think there was a committee conspiracy to keep us out. On the contrary, they kept us at #5 as long as possible to give us a chance to get in. If we would have won the Auburn game like we should have they would have kept us at #5 just waiting to put us in after LSU beats UGA. We simply didn't get the job done.

Honestly, does anyone else want to play Memphis, Cincinnati, or Boise St. in the Cotton Bowl? I’m mean for the interest of the game and not just because it’s close to where some may live. I’d rather see Bama vs. Rowboats or be able to wear old Khaki Pants into the ground. Penn St. for just the nostalgia factor alone would be cool for me. Just wondering how others might feel.

For those who do not know, the CFP and NY6 bowls all have rules to follow. They cannot select Alabama, even if they want to. The best bowl after that group is the Citrus Bowl, then the Outback Bowl - neither has to follow the rankings in their team selection. Both will pick an SEC team, and they will be choosing between Alabama and Auburn.

The Citrus selects first. The Citrus and Outback bowls will play at the same time on January 1st, so they compete for the same viewers. The Citrus Bowl will choose Alabama because you are a much bigger TV draw than Auburn. They will then select between Michigan and Minnesota. Minnesota lost to Mizzou there a few years ago, and the TV ratings were poor for the game. Michigan is a much better TV draw.

Based on this, I predict that Alabama will play Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. We'll know for sure on Sunday.

Roll Tide!

I would love for Bama to play Michigan or Minnesota, but especially whichever team is easier to beat. :) One of my good friends is a Minnesota fan.
