I understand and respect the decision for both he and Banks, but is there something dictating the timing? Is there a deadline? Hard to understand why do it right now otherwise. Especially Banks, who might contribute at least a little.

And while I don't know the answer, I suspect that, with Banks anyway, once Kool-Aid jumped him, he saw the writing on the wall...

Not faulting anyone, but as we've - unfortunately seen, whether at LB, RB, or elsewhere, what may appear to be an embarrassment of riches can thin out verrrrrrrry quickly...

I wonder if the early signing day has any affect on these guys hitting the portal at this time of the year? They may have to do so in order for teams that they will consider transferring an get their scholarship numbers right… just a thought.

I can't fault his decision either. He has not cracked the starting line up, and likely never will. There are younger faster guys who are bigger and stronger who may have a history in programs like ours that bypassed him.
