Zone blocking in College FB - who else?

Arkansas has used zone blocking the entire time Houston Nutt has been the coach. Our O-Line coach (Markuson) is a firm believer in it.

As to teams that run the zone:
In the NFL Denver, Atlanta and Seattle run almost nothing but the inside and outside zone.

I was wondering if croom runs a same style as seattle at msu. It took holmgram awhile to get it going in seattle.

We actually ran the outside zone very well tonight...but we just aren't physical enough on the ride side of the line to get a push on the inside zone or the down blocking plays we run....as I said before and the Mods have hinted on all year....we have got to get stronger.
