Game Thread: **Alabama LSU Postgame Thread **

Congratulations, good luck the rest of the way.

And I hope you guys don't complain about the officials ever again

You have little room to talk ....

First , I was sure LSU fans would have something to say about the non-int interception . I only hope they will admit their safety was bogus as Ingram was 4 feet from the ball . This blown call eventually resulted in 8 points for the tiggers . Without them , this game would've long since been over before the play in quiestion .

Second , an obvious block in the back which wasn't called lead to their first score . I think I'd take a pass on criticizing the officiating crew if I were a tigger .

I was amazed that Gary Danielson -- who seems quite adept at picking apart things like that against us --- could not spot Ingram and point that out. They showed that replay no less than five times and it was never mentioned one time.

The call on the INT - other than us keeping possesion - really didn't have much of an impact on the game. Miss-calling a safety gave LSU 2 points in addition to getting the ball in premium field position to boot. BIG difference and changed the complexion of the game for a while.

Close my behind, facemask on the last drive too. I better go, I'm sour.

Tough game 63, one question though, whats up with all the players dropping, do you all have a conditioning problem to address, man it seemed you all had way too many players going down, I know there were a couple of injuries, but you all lost if I remember 6-7 players in the game.

I hope you all have a great rest of the season, this is the only game I truly pull against you all.

Good luck, tough loss,
Bama Greg

I will say this with complete certainty (in my own mind) - Gary and Verne were pulling for LSU in this game, and they made it obvious. I don't listen to them much, and I actually like Gary most of the time, but tonight they nitpicked everything that we did, and were apologetic for LSU. I don't let stuff like that bother me, but it was getting to me today...

welcome to TideFans...LOL

What a heck of a game. Congrats to two very, very strong, hard teams with the Tide prevailing. Have to say I thought it was an interception by #7, too, but the Tide deserved to win on balance of play, especially in the second half. Ingram is the man!

Overall it was a great game and the refs were o.k. They blew calls, but that usually happens. They hurt both teams so that was probably a wash. I started out in La 58 11/12 years ago, so I was an LSU fan back in the day of Billy Cannon, etc. Anyway, they are my second favorite team and I hope they win all the rest. They are really talented and I hope get Jefferson back tomorrow...and all the others as well.

Now, are we going to worry all week about MSU at night in Starkville??? I sure am...

I thought the way he acted like Dareus was somehow reponsible for Hebert's injury was sorry of him.

"Injured" player down = free time out. Not the first time LSU has had players drop to their knees. 2007 comes to mind....

Great win, scoring offense needs work. 450 yards of offense and only 24 points...

I think it is ridiculous for any LSU fan to complain about the officiating after the no pass interference call in Baton Rouge a few years ago...

Tonight, there was not an obvious blown call like that one...

Beat me to it, I was at that game and I was just to the left and up in the endzone of all of the raining cups of drink coming from the top.

I'm sorry, but that non-interception call did not win or lose the game for anybody. No one can blame that call. Yes, I thought it was a pick, but who's to say that Alabama wouldn't have held them again? Whatever the case, Bama won against a pretty stingy LSU team. Mr. LSU fan, good luck to YOU the rest of the way as well.

I'm glad to call it a win, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "solid" win. Glad to have escaped. There is a lot of work to do to make it through the SECCG, much less the BCSCG.

That wasn't an escape, we could have made a lot more mistakes and still have won I think. Once we got our offense going I knew it was over.
