Thanks for the link. It is not your fault that the local and national media latched onto this facebook non-story and blew it completely out of porportion.

I'm a little unsure on what you can say about articles so I will just say that I felt good about our chances after reading his comments. I'll let one of the mods decide what amount of info from it is ok to share. But it definitely only made me believe even more that we will land him in the end.

In an interview with Clowney, Clowney never mentioned Florida or Auburn who was considered to have tried to work their way into the mix. His facebook post was all for his amusement. He wanted to see the level of reaction he would receive. He like USCe because it is close to home and his mom said she will not tell him where to go but does not want him to go far. He will unofficially attend the UA-USCe game.

He loves Bama defense, thinks we will return to the Nat'l Championship game and thinks our RB's look like LB's.

Also the FB think to me seems like him testing the waters to see how crazy the cocks would get if he chose Bama, and how quickly they would turn on him. Maybe I'm overly positive but his statements about Bama seem to be more positive than the ones about USCe.

Anyways, for everyone else, Bamaglory's summary was spot-on. I really don't think Clowney said anything to let us lean one way or another. Seeing as how he played a bit on facebook, I will wait until he commits to guess where he's going. We all know we have (at a minimum) a 50/50 shot.
