:BigA:Tough game. A couple of tough calls at the end of the game. It happens on the road. I LOVE THIS TEAM! They hustle, play defense, and out work all their opponents. When we get some true shooters the SEC and the rest of the country will need to BEWARE. Congrats team and Coach Grant. We are with you and expect a win on Saturday. Please beat Ole Sis, since I live in Memphis among nothing but Ole Sis fans.

Questionable officiating going both ways tonight, the calls against us just came at the wrong times. JaMychal wasnt OB and that was a foul on the baseline. I still say Releford should have never driven the ball down with :30 to go, we should have taken our time and made that the last possession.

Still played great D considering Vandy is such an offensive team. We'll bounce back.

PS I absolutely LOVED the passion coach Grant showed at the end of the game. He's scary when he's mad.

tough loss. they were raining down 3-pointers, but we could not match them. Hopefully, we can find some fire power outside

Alabama had trouble defending the perimeter shots all night, but they kept finding ways on defense to swing the game back in their direction. Terrible calls all night by the officials, should have been a foul under the basket and the no call timeout is unexcusable. That call got me my first ever Tech as a coach. Don't blame Coach Grant for his reaction, you can only take so much. Glad he is representing us, keep up the hard work Coach G.

CAG showed a lot of restraint and professionalism by not KO'ing Purple Nose. Thanks for being calm and collected, coach. I would have been tossed 4-5 different times tonight.

Won't be able to sleep well after that one. I really hope when the Tournament Committee evaluates us that they take a closer look at this "loss".

I'm not one to whine about officials, referee's, etc. But "Purple Nose," as Earle has so eloquently titled him, was looking RIGHT at the feet and line. How can he miss that? Just absurd.

They only showed the replay from the side once. I think its their way of trying to prevent a bigger controversy. But, everyone saw it, except apparently the guy with the whistle.

I wouldn't be so mad, but this seems the trend when you play Vandy at home. Definitely the Auburn of basketball.

Nothing I can really add about how bad the officiating got at the end of the game.

I would like to say a big ROLL TIDE. Great performance from our team that I am very proud of. I hope the AD does what ever it takes in the future to make sure that Coach Grant doesn't get wooed by a bigger basketball school. What he has done with this team is nothing short of amazing. Once he gets some shooters on the team a National Championship run is not out of the question.

I am proud of this team and proud to be a Bama basketball fan.

Someone on twitter posted a comment that makes a lot of sense now. CAG most likely didn't get Tee'd up at the end because the stripe knew he'd already screwed the game up good.

Sometimes a loss like this can be a HUGE lift for the rest of the conference season. Win this game, perhaps we get a little ahead of ourselves. Lose one like this, you finish with a mission.....

I'm proud.....stressed, but proud. No quit.....and Coach Grant just earned some respect tonight.......

I'm so proud of this team. I defended Coach Grant so much this year and last that I sounded like a broken record. I really do hope Levi and Rodney can shoot it next year. I hate we loss tonight, but am happy we split the trip to tennessee.

I'm not a real big instant replay fan, but if your going to have one in Basketball you have to have one for the boundary line in such a situation. I mean the line isn't moving!

Jenkins can light it up! You can't really play any better on defense against him.

I love the "fire" that we have!

I thought Bama played so well tonight. I am really proud of them. But that was lousy officiating!!
I love the fire that Coach Grant had at the end of the game. I don't think I have ever seen him so upset, but then again I just really started watching them once the SEC season started, so I could be wrong.

Tough loss. I'm sure there will be plenty of "those cheatin' refs cost us the game" posts, and while I thought the whole game was officiated poorly, that's not what cost us the game. When you're on the road in the SEC you've gotta expect some calls to go against you. Poor officiating may be an excuse, but it's not the reason. I'd bet the thing CAG points to is giving up 81 points. This one is over and there's nothing we can do about it. Now let's beat the tar out of OM Saturday. RTR
