Anybody know how to apply helmet decal #s?

As part of my business, I'm a sign maker. Goo Gone will definitely get the decal off. Downy fabric softener mixed with some water will also get it off. Just slather it on and let it set for a bit. You might also heat it up SOME with a hair dryer as you pull it off. It will help loosen the glue. If you need some more numbers, PM me and give me the size and I'll be glad to send you some at no cost to you. Anything for a fellow Tide fan.

Well, thank you to everyone on this post for the helpful information.
The old "17" decal numbers peeled right off and I put the new 14's on either side of the helmet. Went very smoothly. Only thing I can complain about is the 17 I took off looks very more authentic than the 14 I put on. The 17 was raised a little on the helmet, while the "14" is more of a sticker.
Oh well, maybe I'm just being too picky.
Here's the photos and maybe some feedback from you guys will be helpful. What do y'all think?
Apppreciate it and Roll Tide, Roll!

I researched this before when I was changing out the numbers, and the ones that are on the real helmets the players wear are made from 3 mil. or thicker laminated vinyl. They are really stiff so they don't come off easily. I didn't have any of that so I just used regular vinyl like you would use for a car decal. It isn't as pretty though as it would have been if I had the thicker material to make them.

Yea, that's the same problem I have.. the 17 was the thicker, laminated material.... that's what I really wanted. If anybody can hook me up with some of those, PM me.
