It's Lacy's time to shine

Unfortunately I think we've seen the best of Eddie. I hope I'm dead wrong but his condition (post surgery) just doesn't look good. Up to this point it seems he's lost his burst to and through the hole. I'm not sure if he will get any healthier than what he is currently.

Not really sure how Bama attacks Arkansas's defense. Do we run the ball to wear them down? They've allowed 95 and 138 yards rushing in their first two games. Or does Bama attack the secondary that appears to be very vulnerable after giving up 227 passing yards to Jacksonville State and 412 to La-Monroe?

Looks like Bama might have its pick of how to kill Arkansas's defense.

Lacy not likely to bust out this week. He's far from 100% "Circle Button" form. Look for quick short and mid-range passing to start with occasional long shot attempts to Jones and Bell. Once that is established the running game will open up for TJ and Co.

Just MHO.

RTR!!!

I hate to but I have to agree. He does not look the same...

My initial reaction was "does that mean he's 100%"? The truth is, I think it's more likely that Yeldon becomes the primary back than Lacy have a break out game anytime soon. I'm not even sure if he can get to 100% this season.

I would absolutely love to see Lacy in peak form, but he isn't. I think the one to watch is Kenyon Drake. With Sims getting time at QB, Fowler hurt, and Lacy at less than 100%, Drake might see his role increase dramatically.

Norwood was limited in practice and wearing a bandage/taping. No details. Sadly, I agree with those that say Lacy is still a step slow. I hope this is the weekend he returns to full health and wears out the Hogs. Good luck, EL.

I expect us to try to put up points as quickly as possible on Arkansas. I think their D against rushing totals are respectable because JSU and ULM found it easy to pass. It's against CNS's tendency, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us come out slinging it to try to get them out of the game early.

I believe eddies best is ahead of him. LETS GO TIDE... On another note how is that aubie husband of yours doing savannah?, you must be enjoying their demise almost as much as me, if that's even possible:)
