Jimbo Fisher, Jim McElwain, Butch Davis, Charlie Strong, Lane Kiffin, Mark Richt and Scott Frost in the same state? Talk about a recruiting Royal Rumble.

Will our replacement be as simple as promoting Sark or do we look elsewhere?

Good for him. Hopefully he will make the most of the opportunity. Both FIU and FAU have better coaches than they'll ever have again. Both are guys with a checkered path but Butch's and Lane's problems are their benefit. Hope he goes well there.

FAU HC > LSU OC and I love it. What a blow to LSU fans ego who thought Lane would gladly leave Nick Saban for Ogreron. That's like leaving the penthouse for the outhouse. Maybe the rest of the SEC can start a "I hate Alabama" support group.

Here's to the continuing march to mediocrity for LSU.

Might not have been big Ed's call. Saban still has enough connections in the Red Stick to have made a couple of calls to confirm rumors that are most likely not all rumors.

I think orgeron should keep Ensminger, I mean the guy didn't do half bad but I'm sure won't be given a shot. It actually worried me that CLK might have gone down there.

Yep, his best recruiting tool is for him to absolutely torch Washington and whomever we would face in the NCG on offense. Ton of TV exposure for him - just as McElwain and Smart got during their post hiring championship run.
