Bama have good standing with those guys? What are our chances with them?
I heard Mizzou is trying real hard to flip Burden from OU (he is from MO). I think with all of our first round WR draft picks and winning NC we have a real chance with any of them and may pick and choose. We signed four in last years class and we will have none graduating even though Metchie may leave early so I think we may only sign two maybe three in this class.

Hudson is from Texas and heard Sark is all over him and Texas seems to be his choice. It appears our top targets are Luther Burden (committed to OU), Kevin Coleman, Evan Stewart and Barion Brown.

Should have included Shazz Preston also.
Wasn’t Luther Burden supposed to make an unofficial visit this week? If so any word on how that went?

I saw a video on another board last night that most all the Ohio State coaches met JTT at the airport for his visit. They all dressed in Hawaiian shirts, had photographers there, and a police escort with him. They made it a big deal. I thought JTT was not one for attention, so it will be interesting to see if this helps his recruitment or has no influence. What will other recruits think later on when the coaches don't do this for them?

I am glad JTT has the last visit with Bama. Saban just needs to show him all the rings in his office and the facilities and that should be more than enough.... and let him meet Dr Rhea and Coach Ballou. Does anyone know what he wants to major in? Regardless of the major, I am glad Saban emphasizes academics too. RTR

He is a great player and will have a lot of success but we have a lot of really good quality depth at DE. The depth chart may have had something to do with it.

I think he is a Duck. “It’s just a feeling I’ve had for a while now and after getting back from my official visit to Oregon, we decided not to take the trip to Alabama,” Tuimoloau said, via 247Sports.

I think he goes to Oregon as well..................would have liked to have gotten him, but Bama will be fine with what they have

This is a scenario that WILL happen. As an example, Nike says to a player like JTT, we hear you are on the fence with us and a few other teams, if you come to Oregon, we will pay you 100k for a NIL deal. He commits, weeks later the deal is done, he gets the money. It looks legit but it's crooked. No way to tell what happened. A nightmare recruiting storm is brewing here, someone please tell me I'm wrong. And to be fair, this could happen at BAMA and Saban and staff could have no knowledge of what went on.

I don’t see any obstacles to your scenario. Hell, it probably happens as we speak anyway.

He must not care about getting a NC ring. He’s practically guaranteed one at Bama. But honestly I always thought he was a long shot for us anyway.
He can watch us in the NCG with his huge TV and great stereo, after he picks up snacks in his new Mercedes. Depends on your priorities, life is full of examples of this in every persons life. At the risk of sounding like a negative Nancy, with paying players and NIL, players will greet COACH and say this is my father, this is my mother, and this is our family financial advisor. Don't laugh, it's gonna happen.

Could just be geography in this kid's case - he's from out that way, right? Or maybe he just likes hideous uniforms  . Remember the bad old days when a decision like this would devastate a Bama recruiting class?
Nice that we can just shrug our shoulders and wish him well when a top kid goes elsewhere.....
