All of the current backs are his size. He’s taller, but in the same weight range.

Our OL struggles are a puzzle. The whole lot of them were highly ranked and highly sought after.

So one of three possibilities has to be true:
1. They were over-ranked, and we mid-evaluated.
2. We haven’t developed them physically, or
3. Playing techniques being taught are flawed.

We’re just had too much under-achievement vs. high school ranking for too long.

I think it's all those on a case by case basis and I'd add one thing to your list:

in some years we just don't bring in the talent, numbers wise, even if a class is highly rated.

I went back and looked at all the OL recruits since 2017 and we just had gaps in recruiting

17 - leatherwood and Wills (+ Randolph). 2 studs and a role player.

i.e. in 2018, we only had 2 OL. Ekiyor and Tommy Brown. EE has been solid, and this year our second best OL. 1 solid starter and a whiff.

19 we rebounded a bit on numbers with Neal (beast), Quick (didn't pan out), Kight (doesn't seem to be in position to make a move), then Dalcourt (starting, but had issues last year and also this year) and Tanner Bowles (depth only). So out of the 5, one stud, one starter who ought to be backup one major miss (quick) and two depth guys.

20 was a downish year for numbers, with Cohen (good if he can get back to his 2021 level of performance - he was the second best OL last year), George (jury is out, but maybe time), and Seth M (played well, albeit a limited sample last year). so 1 solid starter, and 2 questions

21 should have been the rebound year and on paper that class should be all over the depth chart with Latham, the twins, Ferguson and Roberts. Latham is the best OL this season, then question marks on the others, but it's not a good sign for any of them that it appears Tyler Booker has moved ahead of all of them since he appears to be pushing for PT at Guard. Tommy B had an injury that set him back, so maybe there's still an oppty for him.

another interesting thing I saw was that both EE and J Roberts lost a TON of weight in the offseason 15-20 pounds each. That much loss had to be intentional, but with less push up front this year than even last year, not sure it was beneficial

Bama fans when Woods and Collins committed elsewhere omg what ever will we do. The Goat ill just go assemble the best DL class we've ever signed. Hobbs just jumped to 23 on On3 Bain is a hoss and the only instate DL that actually mattered was Smith. this class is special special.

Thats because BOB hast taken over as the lightning rod for Bama fans Stress and worry. If he is gone after this year, it will move on to somethin else. Despite winning 90-95 percent of our games every year we aren't happy unless were miserable about something. LOL (I include myself in this statement)

I was making a joke because we were fretting about the defensive line recruiting in the summer and now moved on to something else to fret about.

Gibbs is gone after this year. This is about the future at the RB position.

1 hes a ILB 2 we have a bruiser in Young and the best two backs in this class.
