Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama vs. LSU...

Apart from winning obviously, you want the team to get better as the year goes on.

Alabama is doing that. I’m seriously impressed with what this team is doing in the second half of games.

The maturity is going to be tested the next three weeks going to play a tough Kentucky team and a suddenly decent Auburn team on the road.

Why in the world do we have to play the 11am game next week?!?

Is that the best offense Bama faces this year . . . Thought to be fair, only had to defend for a little over three quarters . . . Will we hear the Colt comments this week?
Best so far.

Only thing about Colt comments is it was 42-28 when he went out and we had already stopped them three times in a row.

steele can make halftime adjustments
I told my wife coming out of the half that's one big difference from last year. Alabama has done a better job of halftime adjustments and if they do it again things would look good for Alabama.

This team might not have the talent last year's team did (losing the top offensive and defensive draft pick is huge) but they are a better team as a whole.

I think LSU's offense, coming in to this game, was averaging the most ypg in the nation. They do have a great offense and it showed. It took some time but our defense was finally able to step up and get some stops. LSU defense - not so good. I thought we would need to score some points to win this and we did.

Probably. But we were already up 2 touchdowns with 12min left in the 4th at that point and LSU’s defense was getting zero stops. I don’t really think it affected the game that much.

I would suggest that Turner has been more impactful this year than Anderson last year??
