Playoff Predictor scenarios

This is almost entirely the same committee as last year....with the exception of a 3 that were replaced.

Last year included:
Tom Burman - AD at Wyoming

Rick George - AD at Colorado

John Urschel - 2013 Campbell Trophy winner at Penn State, 5th round draft pick in 2014.

Last year didn't have Ault, Shields, Slayer.

So are we Duck fans or Huskie fans this weekend? I'm concerned that the committee might rank them both above us if Oregon wins the rematch.

We want Oregon to win because Washington will for sure get in if they're undefeated. Oregon's resume will not stack up against ours if we beat UGA.
They will still get in, but I like that it makes the committee more uncomfortable. They will say that their only loss was to a team that they beat in their conference championship game

Who knows what ridiculous word salad they'll come up with. FSU should do the rest of the country a favor and just lose a freaking game already.

I'm just not impressed by either team, but especially Washington. They are absolute frauds. Maybe I should be rooting for them then, since we would obliterate them. I don't think it will matter because I simply do not trust this committee to do the right thing.

This committee is all over the place with what criteria defines each team.

I expect Oregon to kill Washington this time around. FSU, I don't know. Louisville is a better team than Florida I would think, but all I can do is hope Louisville rises up.

Okie State and Texas....Gundy has that team so schizophrenic who knows. Okie State has lost badly to South Alabama and Central Florida and a close loss to Iowa State, but they've beaten Kansas State and Oklahoma. If they show up like they did vs Oklahoma maybe they give themselves a shot.

FSU and Louisville starts after the SECCG is over. We'll either all be tuned into the ACCCG or we won't care at that point.

Someone needs to explain to me how Texas has the second most difficult schedule.

They don't have a Chattanooga on their schedule for one. They've got that one big win on the road. Worst team they played was Baylor (3-9), Houston (4-8) who they almost to, TCU (5-7) who they almost to.

We've got MTSU, USF, and Chattanooga on our schedule or we'd be higher.

BUT....BUT.....BUT.....this committee doesn't care about any of that.

Every system shows their SoS as better than Alabama's. It really isn't up for debate

Chris Ault - former HC at Nevada

Mitch Barnhart - AD at Kentucky, former AD at Oregon State

Chet Gladchuk - AD at Navy, former AD at Tulane, Houston

Jim Grobe - former HC at Wake Forest and Ohio Univ.

Mark Harlan - AD at Utah, former AD at USF

Warde Manuel - AD at Michigan, former AD at UConn

David Sayler - AD at Miami (Ohio), former AD at South Dakota

I'd argue this is probably the worst committee we've had, but it doesn't matter really.

Actually, you get a bigger boost from playing them.

I'm not buying that our schedule outside of them is worse than their schedule outside of us.

But this is going to be a moot point. We are about to play #1, and they'll play #20.

I guess you're correct, but I'm just saying I look at their schedule and I just can't see it. Two of their three ranked opponents are Kansas and Kansas State. Would either of those be better than 8th or 9th in the SEC? Maybe.
