Yep, agreed. Coach Saban has earned a mulligan so I somewhat understand at his age, where he obviously was in his career (contemplating retirement, etc) maybe why he handled it the way he did. But yeah, it should have been handled much differently...

Honestly I think we are doing much better than I expected so far. I thought we would lose a fair share of defensive guys but so far that not the case. If we can hold through a few more days that would be huge. It is 30 days but remember they have to be enrolled in other school for Spring semester to get Spring reps so they have just few days really to do that depending on the school they go to.

Well, his players are a bunch of quitters who don't show up for bowl games so it makes sense.

Honestly I think we are doing much better than I expected so far. I thought we would lose a fair share of defensive guys but so far that not the case. If we can hold through a few more days that would be huge. It is 30 days but remember they have to be enrolled in other school for Spring semester to get Spring reps so they have just few days really to do that depending on the school they go to.

I want to be optimistic, but we don't have a DC yet and the players still have like 25 days to transfer. Agree that it's encouraging we haven't lost too much on the defensive side yet, but I imagine there is still a ton of work to do to solidify the current roster.

I know Proctor openly addressed this when he signed last year.
