Classic Rock thread

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

There's a scene in the movie Almost Famous where Jimmy Fallon plays a Manager and is pitching the band in the movie about what he can do for them. He's talking abut making money now, and say "if you think Mick Jagger will still be out there trying to be rock star at age 50, you're sadly, sadly mistaken".

Mick Jagger is playing here tonight for 70,000 people in Reliant Stadium - at age 80

This song was written in 1979 so I'll count it as 'Classic'.

I'm not really a big fan of NIN but I Love Gary Numan and this is one of the Tightest Live Performances I've ever seen or heard for 'Cars'.

The NIN Drummer is playing like his life depends on it!!!

To illustrate how dumb I am when it comes to rock music, I have heard of a. couple of these groups, but know absolutely nothing of the music. To each his/her own,,,,

It’s a mix of Hard Rock, Seattle Grunge, and Mainstream Metal.

But it’s for me the beginning of the end of Rock.

There was some good stuff in the mid 90’s too but from the late 90’s to now has been awful.

I can listen to anything from the 50’s to about 96 and then I’m like nope…lol
