2025 Recruiting: 2025 Recruiting Targets, II

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

I haven't kept up, why is that?

Commited to Saban before his junior season.

Didn't produce much his junior season. New staff had very little tape to look at. He changed schools again for his senior year, and produced only 200 yards rushing on the season. Was basically just a slot receiver. Where he did excel, but the new staff and him just haven't gotten on the same page. He didn't visit until an unofficial this season. Just doesnt seem to a priority target for us and we don't seem to be where he really wants to be.

I'd love him in this class for his upside but he is likely to tumble down the final rankings fwiw.

Another CB for Cunningham to Ole Sis. We very well may lose him and hate it if we do. Hopefully some of our other recruits are in his ear and if we throw more coming down the stretch he may stay with us.

Seeming like we will lose Dawson Merritt sometime soon as well.

No one here has counted turbo in this class for a while but he is out too.

Should add Ivan Taylor fwiw. And will probably flip Montgomery from Florida and probably add jace clarizo at rb.
Then either dunn or starr at DB

Also usc commit RB Harry Dalton also still in consideration.

Still a good class but I'm getting a feel that a lot of fans will not be happy with how we close this month.

We are going to have a great class regardless but prepare to deal with some nay saying.

So at this point, Bama has lost Cunningham and could very well gain Montgomery (perfect name for a Bama player). His OV is this weekend.
FYI, some may say, Montgomery isn't Cunningham, go look at his film, rankings, and offer list. It's not too shabby.
Merrit will be next to flip, and we will gain a prospect that staff have long coveted in Taylor.

No need for any type of meltdown.

Naeshaun Montgomery, Miami Central, Wide Receiver

Ivan Taylor, West Orange, Safety

No Montgomery is a very good player, and brooks deserves a 5th star to be honest. But really wanted the bigger bodied guy.
Oh well.

Losing Merritt really bugs me and now I'm a bit worried about carroll. Not sure what the word is there. He is visiting Colorado this week (though he's made visits all year)

A taylor commitment would perk me up.

Fwiw AU picked flipped a cb from usc today, Im not sure if its connected but could be a good sign that donovan starr is flipping somewhere (bama, uga, vandy)

Always felt that finishing in the top 3-4 wasnt shabby for a first year coach
