Yet, they are in a position to make the playoffs, AND get a first round bye. This new playoff system is the biggest joke around. It has nothing to do with getting the best teams in the playoffs.

I think hoping for an SMU win is about done. Probably need Clemson to just go ahead and put the rout on. No way SMU can even sniff SEC caliber from what I see. They look like that pretty good mid major that you can’t completely overlook but that won’t really come close to actually winning.
