If it is true, then that is really bad.

But I question the motives of "former" officers spilling the beans about ongoing investigations. What if the CIA/Justice Department was not ready to make this investigation public? He may have just hurt the entire process.

Also, I'm tired of people saying "just wait until this comes out" being treated as news. Months from now, if nothing comes out, no one will remember this segment, but right now, it is being treated as fact in some circles. It's basically drive-by rumor posting.

This reminds me of that scene in the movie “JFK,” where the woman says that Jack Ruby introduced her friend Lee Harvey Oswald of the CIA.

Sure he did. Undercover spooks go around revealing their identity to everyone. Even Clark Griswold had enough class when he was trying to score with Christie Brinkley to just say that he had once been in the CIA and he wasn’t any longer.

Bank account records show Senator Lindsey Graham is laundering money from the Ukraine war back into his personal bank accounts

CIA Officer says it’s “significant amounts of money” being laundered back to Senator Lindsey Graham

“Let me say something about Senator Graham. There will be news coming out in the next couple of months about how he has profited financially off of money that came out of Ukraine, laundered through Latvia and made it way into his bank account. And now we're talking significant amounts of money. Department of justice is looking at it.

Those are serious allegations leveled by CIA officer, former CIA officer Larry Johnson.“

It would make sense. This clown has not been an ally to what Trump claims he wants to do. If Trump can get him by the fabled place where the short hairs grow, Graham might actually be useful to this administration (for a change.)

Stephen Miller hits the nail on the head – Republicans are afraid to finally get a win, because losing is the only thing that they’ve known, for decades.

To state the obvious, Miller way oversells Trump in this dialogue, but his criticism of the GOP is spot on. Congressional Reps are weak, but they are also corrupt as hell. Miller should have pointed that out, too.
One of my biggest dreads about Trump rewinning the WH was it meant Miller would be there in his ear again...

Miller and Kirk are nominees for “Most Fact Free Conversation In World History.” Kirk is the David Hogg of the conservative “movement.”

Let’s just go to the videotape:

GOP Owns Both Houses:
1932-94: 4 total years
1994-2025: 17 years and counting

GOP Owns White House:
1932-68: 8 total years (22%)
1968-now: 33 total years (58%)

GOP Trifecta:
1932-2000: 2 years
2001-now: 9-plus

Meanwhile, Trump’s genius:
Lost a safe Senate seat in Alabama
Lost House at first midterm
Lost Senate in 20
Failed to capture Senate again in 22

Every scrap of evidence available contradicts such a claim. This obsession with declaring yourself a winner (the Trump strategy) needs to be replaced with actual winning. And the fact is the GOP was winning elections when Donald Trump was still giving all of his donations to Democrats.

Congress is weak? Yeah, look at that huge margin they have thanks in large part to the party head who still hasn’t recovered psychologically from seeing daddy naked in the shower when he was nine and has been compensating ever since.

Let’s see: winner, weak, all the same empty cliches that have marked his attempted leadership for a decade.

KARL: There's a provision that eliminates a tax on gun silencers. It's been on the books for about 100 years. Why?

MIKE JOHNSON: The 2nd Amendment is a critical freedom in the Constitution, and there's no real rationale for adding taxes on these pieces of equipment.
I still can’t figure what the point of a silencer is anyway.

The primary benefit of suppressors - protecting the shooter's hearing - is massive.
Ah, I hadn’t thought of that. The over-the-ear noise canceling sets are great for me. I can’t afford to be careless with my hearing anymore. (The entire soundtrack of my teen years were played at full-volume.) :(

If you ever need your firearm for self defense, the last thing you want to worry about is finding your ear protection and hoping the batteries are charged.

The first thing I thought when I heard an actual silencer. Really not all that silent. Movies lied to me.
Depends on the ammunition used - most ammo is super-sonic so even though the suppressor absorbs the energy from the cartridge, when the bullet clears the muzzle faster than the speed of sound you get a pretty loud *crack* as it breaks the sound barrier.

Using sub-sonic ammo with a suppressor is crazy quiet.

One guy who used to be on the show "Life Below Zero" used a can with subsonic ammo. Of course, TV was too discrete to show the actual hit, but he missed plenty on his first shot and the game, usually elk, just looked puzzled...

As pressure mounts on the governor to veto a THC ban sent to his desk, Patrick finds himself in the unfamiliar position of taking flak from conservative activists and media personalities outside the Capitol, many of whom typically march in political lockstep with a man who has long been a darling of the right and done more than perhaps any other elected official to drive Texas rightward.

After spearheading the THC ban, Patrick has been accused by some on the right of creating a nanny state and giving Mexican drug cartels a business opportunity to fill demand in the black market. He has been labeled a booze lobby shill for beer distributors who stand to benefit. A hardline conservative state lawmaker who voted against the ban said it contradicted “the Texas mantra of being pro-business, pro-farmer and pro-veteran.”
This is a loser of a cause and I'm glad to see that some on the right are pushing back. Still, there are too many in the GOP who are incapable of reading the room.

I was wondering when this, going after the hemp-based THC industry, was going to start. You can buy all the THC you want, vapes, gummies and tinctures, online and have it shipped to your house all 100% legal. It just has to be sourced from a hemp plant and not a marijuana plant. Why anyone would buy black market pot is beyond me when the legal hemp-based stuff is just as strong and is legal.

This has all the earmarks of propaganda pushed by the far right's favorite Eastern European former superpower.

I'm not a fan of Aunt Flabby, but I would be surprised if this wasn't yet another conspiracy theory promoted by that media outlet.
