Is it a stretch to say Germie Bernard is our best receiver? Far from the most talented but he’s so consistent.

It’s not a stretch it’s a stone cold fact.

He’s the leading Rec and Rec Yard leader the last 14 games.

Runs the Best and Cleanest routes and has by far the Best Hands.

Not afraid of contact either. Makes the tough catches and the easy ones.

As far as Ty’s play was yesterday, he threw for close to 250 yards and didn’t throw a pick. There were a few drops. Although, I said earlier, he brings the heat when he throws it. 250 yards with zero picks wins games at Bama. We have to heat up the running game to compliment that. You look at the CPB and CNS teams of the past: strong running game opened up the pass, a defense that was completely relentless, we had great success. We’ve got to have the Fitzpatrick, McLain, Ragland, type along with the Jones, Vlahos, type oline and bring back the toughness. You don’t do that by practice starting at 7 AM because it’s hot done here in the summer. I’m not giving up but someone call Mark Ingram, Julio, and Upshaw and let everyone know what it’s all about. Let’s keep supporting and maybe this will correct itself.

Ty was in a real bad position and it’s unfair for some people to pin so much on him.

He was basically out there like 2011 AJ at PSU being asked to be 2013 AJ vs Texas A&M but with an O-Line like the Pancake Posse.

He was running for his life and pressing trying to make plays and still didn’t do anything disastrous to hurt us.

He wasn’t throwing picks, or fumbling the ball multiple times, or taking bad sack after bad sack.

Around 250 Yards and 2 TDs with no turnovers against a NR opponent should win 100 out of 100 times.

He was also basically the only Player or Coach that took some public accountability for the loss that I’ve seen so far.

He will be a first rounder, but they will move him inside so speed rushers can’t beat him outside
I agree. However, why don’t we take the approach we did during DJ Fluker’s time and move him to the right tackle? Go back and watch the SEC championship game when Cyrus was playing left tackle and we cranked up the run game to the right side. Complete domination. They had pass rush guys outside and I thought DJ was about to be arrested for assault. He took over in the run game. Hell, sometimes passing doesn’t always win.

Ty is full of Alabama football. He has put 3 years into the program , with no reward. I’m not sure he is the QB we need to win this year. But, he won’t lose for us either. He deserves his shot.
To win this year, I think we would need a dynamic, game changer at QB. Ty would have been great on some of Saban’s Alabama teams.

If we are dreaming, then Statistically, the Right tackle was our best Olineman, which wasn’t saying much. Get Roberts back, move Proctor inside , try out one of this 4 tackles we signed last year or maybe move Carroll outside with his athleticism. I mean the dude played lacrosse and wrestled in HS telling me he has coordination and knows leverage. At least we would only have to help out one guy .

Brother, you’re exactly right.

I don't think yesterday really justifies any overreaction.

This isn't the first time that good teams have dropped early games to inferior opponents. Look at Notre Dame last year.

Offensively, I thought Ty was great. He had to deal with a lot of external factors weighing him down but when you consider that it's his first start since HS and the fact it's a hostile environment, he did fine. The O line did him no favors and nor did Grubb. I think if the O line can sort themselves out, we'll be fine because a lot of problems stemmed from that offensively.

Defensively, I was disappointed. I've never been sold on Wommack and I'm not any closer after that. The DL got bullied for the most part. I know TK is out but we have to be better than that. The linebackers also left a bit to be desired. It seems that Wommack still hasn't learned how to stop these dynamic running offenses. It felt like the Vandy game in a lot of ways. Just couldn't answer any of the offense's plays and we were constantly a step behind. The tackling was appalling which concerns me because those issues tend to carry over.

I'm not going to read too much into that result. It was FSU's natty after all. We've got some home games to sort ourselves out before we head to Athens. We'll be fine for the most part. Even if we end up like last year, I trust Simpson more than Milroe and it was Milroe's arm that cost us several games.

It’s sad. Words I heard by the media to describe Alabama football 2025. Lethargic, unprepared, unmotivated, got dominated, soft, loafing, didn’t care, no fear and a litany of others

. Troll Tide: Florida State's Tommy Castellanos selling 'Nick Can't Save Them' shirts after besting Alabama
- CBS sports

.This is Bama, the team that's been a dynasty. You got a little fear. That fear aspect of what Alabama is is completely gone. Ain't nobody scared of them boys. Not Vandy. Not Kentucky. Not nobody. Nobody's walking and seeing Alabama on the schedule and having any kind of shake, any kind of fear, nothing. They've been getting wiped the last couple of years."
- Johnny Manziel

thanks for running the Bugatti into a ditch , Coach.

Two quotes I heard from CKD that I face Palmed on-

This isn’t last year, it’s a new team.
it may be 2025 coach, but this is exactly like last year

. I choose to believe we are a good team

and I choose to believe I’m a billionaire , don’t make it so.

Yep, proctor is a liability at LT but could play right or guard. Also Williams needs to be at wideout. He’s not a slot guy.
In regards to Williams, he’s not or never will be able to work across the middle at his size. They talked about how much “bigger” he was than last year. 😂. Keep him outside and draw coverage his way and get people out of the box.

I know X receivers are usually bigger, but he played X last year and didn’t get jammed, they couldn’t touch him. Yeah he needs to be outside. I understand with his gift , he could be a slot, but his natural fit is outside.
