Political Meme - Cartoon/Joke Thread...Part XXXI

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

It has been hard to watch. mRNA isn't going to be a certainty in terms of curing cancer, but it is a fantastic tool that really opens up some cool treatment ideas for cancer and for vaccines against a number of pathogens that we've had a very hard time targeting.
Cancer cells are so energy-avid, mRNA is just a no-brainer...

....and isn't that quite the admission that they weren't treating them the same?
That's exactly what it is. I posted my thoughts about Weiss' appointment to editor-in-chief on the media thread. I do hope she's successful, but I remain skeptical for now.

PYONGYANG (The Borowitz Report)—Kim Jong Un was incandescent with rage on Wednesday as he accused Donald J. Trump of stealing his idea of gathering his top military brass for an orgy of propaganda.

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” Kim said of Tuesday’s event in Quantico, Virginia. “That ******* totally ripped me off.”

“The summoning of the nation’s generals, the insistence on loyalty, the unhinged rhetoric—I had all of that,” the North Korean dictator added. “The only thing I didn’t have was the weird drunk guy with all the makeup.”

In another accusation, Kim claimed Trump lifted his idea of attacking American cities, stating, “Washington DC, Los Angeles, Chicago—they were all on my target list. The only one I didn’t have was Portland. Why is he attacking Portland? That makes zero sense.”

Is there a rule against non military personnel being obese?

I remember from reading Teddy Roosevelt that he put some rules in place about the fitness of the officer corp.

There are rules for military personnel. There are no rules for non-military.
Since Trump is Commander-in-Chief, we should assume that the rules for military personnel should apply to him

Is there a standing rule for mental capacity as well? There certainly should be. With physical and mental standards, we wouldn't have had either Trump or Biden. 🤷‍♂️

Nah, not for the president. Any convicted felon can become president if a majority of the Electoral College voters vote for them.
I also wonder how many people will vote for Trump if he were to show clear signs of Alzheimer’s, but still would be on the ballot in 2028 (don’t ask me how).
Technically, we have the 25th Amendment, but that requires the VP. + 2/3 of the House/Senate to rule. Not going to happen.

Ps, my question back on the meme was sarcastic. I was pointing out that the generals versus commander in chief comparison wasn't relevant.

Honestly, at this point, sarcasm, memes, and humor are the only tools we have left to survive the chaos.

The 25th is useless as it was written. He would have to be in a vegetative state...
