Many of those ideas are bad, but that's not socialism. My wife, her family, and her friends could explain what life is like in such a system, since they grew up in it. It's amazing, once again, how people who advocate for big government, are now whining about big government. At the end of the day, it's simply that many people have no idea what they are talking about.
Did Texas intentionally send the fattest guards to Chicago?
Maybe this is an all-volunteer effort, and a stop at a deep dish pizza buffet was the winning enticement?
