Bama Game Thread: Bama PostGame Thread - Bama vs. OU...

Well, they also got us at the right time of the season. We've had a murder row of games against ranked SEC opponents and one more, regardless of venue, proved to be too much.
Scheduling matters and this run of games where our opponent has a bye week before our game is some funky scheduling and has helped our opponents no doubt

For crying out loud man, the coaches didn’t make our guys turn the ball over. You think that’s part of their gameplan? Take a breath

No but ultimately it’s on the coaches. This isn’t Alabama football anymore and you guys know it. Nobody is afraid to come to Tuscaloosa. OU came in expecting to win the game.

We had twice the amount of yardage and still lost.

Teams fear Georgia, Ole Miss, etc…

Literally every game is a nail biter under DeBoer and you can’t do that in the SEC and expect to win them all.

It’s the totality of the season.

Unless there are explainable losses and enough external chaos across CFB it’s going to be tough putting a 3 loss team in and excusing it.

We have a horrific albatross loss to FSU

Puked against OU again.

Can’t afford a 3rd loss. Just can’t.
Look I'm not saying it would happen but I think there could be an argument.

Our FSU loss is so far removed from who we are as a team. Of course it will still get looked as record matters.

Our 2nd loss was to #11 who were coming off a bye.

Our 3rd loss, if it happens, would be to our biggest rival coming off a bye on the road with nothing to lose.

We've had a tougher run that just about anybody. We had a record breaking stretch of four games. Our collection of wins tops just about anybody.

This is not a special team. They won’t have special results. Same as it has been all season. I still enjoy watching.

I don’t understand the strategy of deployment of resources though. Coaches refuse to realize the limits of this team.

Nobody fears Ole Miss and nobody really fears UGA.

Football has changed. It's not how it used to be.

Ty seemed timid tonight. How many times did we even attempt to throw deep? You cant lose the turn over battle 3-0 and expect to beat OU. We had 2 turnover interceptions that went though our hands. Best we can do now is win out and rest up till we have to play in someone else's stadium in the first round.

Some of you that only come on here and post when we lose need to get another cup of shut the heck up! Blaming TY on the pick six and the fumbles, the last pass at the end, the pick our receiver was knocked off the route before the ball got there should've been PI, the fumbles were caused by bad pass blocking, and the last play was all he had, we would not be this far with out him, so alot of yall need to go back to watching HG TV with your wife and shut up
He does have a tendency to hold onto the ball too long, many of the Offense issues is Oline play but you cant disregard that its becoming an issue with him.
A good chunk of that would have been worked out had he been starting and developing last year.

Do watch any other games?

Parity is the rule today. Almost every game with two decent teams is a 1 score game.

Maybe Georgia, no one fears Ole Miss

The OU Defense dominated the game. Handled the run game, put constant pressure on Ty, and covered the passing game the entire game. Just an outstanding defensive plan and effort on their part.
you are giving too much credit. Ty had 326 yards passing the most they have given up. they only allowed 14 points per game. Bama actually ran for almost 100 yards, the best we had done in a while esp. against a great defense.
