Our line struggled, but both of these lines showed glimpses of that struggle as well.

After watching this game and the Ole Miss Miami game, and then recalling all of our games this season. Even in our best game we never once played as physical as some of the games in the playoff. We are quite a bit away from having a championship team.

Experience > star recruits....a blend is probably best but this IU team maybe a one-off thanks to the JMU mass import of players. Basic football, discipline and unselfish play helps overcome inferior athletes

I don’t think you can do that now, too expensive. You need a mature base, and a few guys like Miami’s Toney who are just difference makers from the start.

Now that Cignetti turned IU around in two years, the traditional four year plan given to new coaches to turn a program around will be a thing of the past. It can be done sooner with the portal and right HC.
