I'm sorry but that's too dadgum funny! I love those two trucks that the University sent. I haven't heard of what house they bought in North River Yacht Club, but I'm sure we'll all hear soon enough.

I was wondering if SHULA was going to contact him and make him a deal on the brand new house they built but never stepped foot in???

I think you're right, they probably bought the house that Coach Shula was having constructed. Since it was such an expensive mansion, not many people in Alabama could afford something like that. I'm sure the real estate agency would have given him a really good deal just to get it off of their hands.

The Truck is owned by Covan World Wide it is used for hauling the football equipment to all of the games. It can be seen in Midland City, AL when not in use.

The Sun Just could not resist could they.

A Quote from the Sun Sentinel:
James Lefton in Ft Lauderdale said "We have a better Coach in Cam Camerson and Coach Saban isn't in the same class." Boy did he kill that statement. :biggrin2:

Cameron fired from Indiana U. and was replaced by Gary Dinardo who was replaced by Terry Hoeppner. Terry Hoeppner is a fine coach. Yes James there is an Easter Bunny. You just keep believing that! :p_lol:

That is funny stuff. What a cool truck. I heard they were talking about that on Around the Horn.

I'm actually surprised that thing isn't already on a freighter on its way to South America.

BTW, did Dolphin fans really give a crap about Saban leaving? Or was it more about that he left them for a college team?

I bet if he had just up and retired they wouldn't care either way.

Bill Mallory is the only coach that I can remember who had some good seasons at Indiana.

Indiana head football coach Terry Hoeppner made an immediate impact in his first year at the helm of the Hoosier program. In addition to leading Indiana to its first 4-1 start since 1994, Hoeppner rejuvenated an IU fan base that enjoyed a 39 percent increase in per game attendance, a 46 percent increase in overall season ticket sales and a 110 percent increase in student season ticket sales.

My son attended his football camp last season and was surprised at the amount of energy coach Hoeppner has. The year before he attended Gary Dinardo's camp and we left after the first hour of just standing around. Gary Hoeppner understands football and his players respect him. Cam and Gary never had that. That is my point. :BigA:

yeah that's true....also if hoeppner hadn't had that brain surgery problem they likely would've been bowl eligible because if i remember correctly they lost a/some heartbreaker(s) while he was out....maybe southern illinois or somebody like that who has no business competing with a big ten squad....in the end though i think we can both agree that given his success at san diego cameron is more cut out for the pros than college ball

i'm missing something. if a plane crashes with all our players no one is going to care about the helmets and shoulder pads. i figure it's just cheaper to truck it than to fly it
