I think the pressure defense, and the failure to handle it cost us the game. You can call it sloppy handling, but it was because they had hands in all the time. The officiating is another question...

Really some bad decisions against the pressure defense. Looks like we wanted to take the ball up the side of the court every time! We had people open up the middle of the court.

Honestly, I would have rather been blown out than to make it close like this and rip my heart out. I hate when I get teased like this. "Oh, but it was a close game"...it's still a loss.

Well most people (including many on here) felt that this would be an ugly game. I think we played very well and we just made a few too many mistakes to beat the number 1 team in their house

I agree that Florida's defense turned the tables in their favor but they shouldn't have been allowed to get away with that aggressive defense b/c they were committing fouls that weren't being called.

Extremely hard to play against a basketball game when there is a one-sided aggressive defense.

Still, our offense shouldn't have crumbled like that, it was sad to watch, not sad...in a pathetic way, but in a "learning experience" kind of way.

Way to blow an 18 point lead!

Seriously...what's the problem?

I'm glad baseball started last weekend...
Not hard to do...considering many others have done it. They are a great team and were getting some calls that helped their defense shut us down....they are the best team in the nation, would we have won this game on a neutral court???? i dont know but i think our chances are better

Watching RS lose the ball several times, off his hands and also off passes that were off by just a bit, I realized how much "good hands" depend on good feet. His balance is off by just a tad and his weight is not just where he expected it to be. It's sad. A healthy RS and we win the game by 10. Or more...

It just seems like we have big breakdowns at critical times. Our decision making has got to get better. Despite Steele disappearing in the 2nd half we still had all the chances in the world.
