My bad - they use "natural beef flavor," which they make from hydrolyzed milk and wheat solids, which they say duplicates the taste...
I agree wholeheartedly. I haven't felt truly represented in years (if ever.)
Ah yes, now that I DID know and this is a dubious claim at best. I've had the modern iteration of McDonald's fries and they are decidedly not as good as they old ones used to be. Without those classic fries, I can think of absolutely no reason to ever go there (unless I need to pee and my options are limited.) The food doesn't taste real and I've seen monkey crap-fights at the zoo more organized than the drive-thru. And the biggest insult of all? The combos are now running around the $12 mark. I am genuinely stumped that they are still turning massive profits.
