Somebody said Miles was having as much trouble with Roster Management 101 as he has with Time Management 101. As a Louisiana resident, this news makes me smile a tiny bit.

Somebody prolly needs to check me on this, but at Alabama, Lee Roy was #54. Had to change to #55 with the Cowboys because Chuck Howley already had #54. I wore #55 when I played because of Lee Roy's Cowboy number.

There are several assistants. Rocky Colburn is on the present Tide staff. George Pugh is coaching TEs at UAB. Jeff Rutledge was either OC or QB coach somewhere, but I can't remember.

Do bands not play march music anymore? As far as the band playing something to fire up the team, if "Yea, Alabama" doesn't get you fired up, then there's something wrong with you.

I agree with the ban on orange clothing. I have a really neat orange sports coat that I won't wear because, when I do, I catch it from all the LSU fans here about wearing Auburn colors. I won't pull for UT or the Barn unless their winning helps Bama.
