I was concerned about today after listening to Coach on Hey Coach. A lot of talk about the possible 2nd round opponent. Oats did not talk about RMU preparation. To me, it looked like we overlooked these guys and it almost bit us.

I don't know if we overlooked them, but they definitely almost bit us. These tournament games are weird. You can face off against a team that just matches up well with you, or you can face a guy or two who just get hot, or you can have an off game. Any of those things can end your season immediately no matter how many wins you put together during the regular season. I think we need to at least make the sweet 16 in order to put a good cap on this year. We had a lot of high hopes, but we have also had some injuries and strange occurrences. The sweet 16 will cap off a very good year in my book. Anything beyond that is gravy. If we don't at least make the sweet 16, though, it has to be considered a bit of a clunker with the way we have ended the year. We shall see what happens. Roll Tide!
