*** 2013 Fall Camp Thread ***

Jalston Fowler is going to be a nice constraint/formational mismatch guy for the offense. He can effectively play 3 different positions and he seems like he's going to be that drop off H-Back in the play action game.

I took it to mean the 1's. Think he said a couple of them (OL) did play with power and a couple did not. (Could be wrong)

Yeah, I got kinda confused because he said that the 1s did a good job. Still though it was the first scrimmage and the line is still feeling itself out. He still likes where they are. We have more than enough time to get it down.

Arie to RT and Shepard to LG may or may not be an experiment. May not be getting enough of a push at RT. Interesting to note from the comments in the Walsh article that Brandon Greene played some TE. Appears we are missing Michael Williams presence.

Another interesting note, I saw a snippet from Saban's presser when someone asked about Amari's performance. Saban said they have 3 conditioning criteria and that Amari finished #1 in all 3. He is the best of the best which says a lot about Amari. He said Sunseri was #2.

Yes! Amari just didn't sit back and say I'm the man. He went hard over the summer to get better. Sabanism at its best!

This move reminds me of when we used to bring Shawn Draper in as additional TE in a double TE formation. He could absolutely mow people down.

I wonder if having Brandon Greene practice at TE just gives us an alternative option down in the road zone. With him looking like a tradition tackle with the knee braces no one would suspect him as a target. JMO

Saw some discussion about the move possibly being for an overloaded line.

Talk of CNS getting pretty heated last night with the DBs. Here's proof.

Maybe it's working I just watched an interview of Ha-Ha and he was bragging on Sylve and Collins. He talked like we were at least two to three deep at most DB spots. I still say NG is the key. If Ivory and Lake can do their job well we may have a 2011 type defense.
