2017-2018 Coaching Carousel

I would say he is too old, but Snyder is like 150 and still coaching.
Except Snyder is actually a good coach. Not sure why'd you hire a 63 year old guy who was a loser in the pros and no college experience in the lifetime of the players in college today. They clearly aren't playing to win the game if they hire him.

Why isn't Les even being talked about for any of these jobs? Say what you want, but the man can put together a football team and pushed us hard for years. Wonder if all the defections at Michigan are a precursor to Harbaugh losing his grip and maybe heading back to the NFL??? No proof and haven't even heard a rumor about this one but it does make me wonder a little bit.

Nuggets from Warchant:

1. If CJF leaves he will not be on the sideline this Saturday against ULM.

2. They added Justin Fuente VT as an interest along with Taggert.

A&M can't negotiate the $10.4 million, it's already too late since we fired him. He'll get his money within 60 days of separation per his contract.

I know that; I'm not referring to the coaching contract. I had heard there was a second, separate contract that A&M and Sumlin had signed together. This was a contract between Sumlin's company and A&M.

There is only the one contract, here is a link to it: https://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/37...50.1036798411.1512009685-614411408.1512009685

Also, I read the post below and Sumlins corporation is called #Yessir!, LLC. He formed it a few weeks after signing his last contract with us. https://www.corporationwiki.com/p/2g05oj/yessir-llc

Apparently some coaches form a corporation that they use and the school signs the contract with...

From the Ed O saga:
"LSU’s contract is actually with “O” The Rosy Finch Boyz, LLC, which was incorporated last January when he got the job. It lists as its officers Ed Orgeron, his wife Kelly and New Orleans attorney William Neilson. It runs through 2021 and pays him about $3.5 million per year, with various incentives, plus benefits such as membership in the University Club of Baton Rouge and a $2,000-per month carer’s allowance."

LSU fans had a wide range of emotions over finding out O named his LLC :
"The Rosy Finch Boyz "

So ..... why does the AD get a big salary? A coaching search firm is hired to find candidates. The search firm contacts the list of agents. The agents lawyers get together with the schools lawyers. Then the HC get his "company" to get together with all the other firms, institutions and companies. Good grief. I guess the AD gets a big salary so he can deny that HE has contacted coach ______.

Arizona State AD Ray Anderson made it clear after firing Todd Graham that the Sun Devils are playing to win the Pac-12 South

I must throw a flag on this statement. If you are REALLY playing to win the Pac-12 south you would not hire a HC with NOT ONE, BUT TWO losing records. C'mon Ray, enough of the AD speak.

Evidently, Jimbo has demanded that the FSU Booster president be fired as a condition.
