I know you like the milquetoast soda-stealing man but it is simply facts.
To be fair, I don't like him any more than most other DNC candidates, and I agree that those are the facts, but the whole thing is hypocritical.

Bloomberg is only there to ensure a moderate wins New York and New Jersey. Maybe muddy up a few different races, but he is mostly a fail safe and not a true candidate. There is a reason why only progressives are having issues with his candidacy.

NY & NJ are voting Democrat no matter who their nominee is. This has nothing to do with NY & NJ

I’m not talking about the General Election. I’m talking about the Primary
I'm confused - you believe that Bloomberg is there to steal votes from another Democrat - that he is spending his own money to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars to help/hurt another candidate?

NY primary leans center right as a whole and has a good deal of voting districts that lean conservative. Bernie’s only chance in the state is NYC. Putting Bloomberg there almost assures him that he is locked off from receiving a good number of the 270. He will basically be splitting with Warren and Bloomberg while Biden takes pretty much the rest of the state unopposed.

It’s more of an anyone but Bernie move.

Bloomberg is paying for this himself. He is not doing this to stop Bernie - he is doing it to stop Trump. Bloomberg is the only Democratic candidate focused on beating Trump. All of his ads are either about himself or Trump. The other Democrats are wasting money fighting among themselves.

You’re fooling yourself if you don’t see that this is an attempt to prevent Bernie Sanders from being the nominee because the polling in key states does not back up that Sanders is a lost cause for the general election at all.

This is either the most unconventional way to the nomination or an attempt to help ensuring someone loses. I’m betting on the latter especially since he threatened to run last time around if it was Bernie.

I refuse to support any candidate that self-funds because I'm not interested in perpetuating the American oligarchy.
Sorry, if Bernie self-funded you would back him. You clearly believe in him.

Nobody that runs on Bernie’s platform would be able to self fund a presidential campaign. This is like postulating whether I’d ride on the back of a unicorn if they actually existed despite saying I don’t care for unicorns.

So he is going to spend a billion dollars to hurt Bernie? That is some tin foil hat wearing conspiracy stuff right there.

Obviously if he thinks Bernie's policies would result in him getting taxed only a tad bit more than that then it is a profitable move.

He isn't a billionaire, but he is far from a pauper. Does being a billionaire make a person less desirable to you?

Not being in debates, not being on every ballot, and playing the ST strategy doesn’t seem like a candidate that is really trying to win the nomination.

Sorry, you know nothing about the man. He is an old man who gives away billions of dollars every year to charities and plans to donate his entire fortune before he dies. Along with the Gates and Warren Buffet, he signed the Giving Pledge. He is not trying to avoid paying taxes.

He is not Bernie Sanders, but he is not some centrist money hungry business mogul either.
