Yup, we dont need a Palin reduxUnless his VP is totally out of left field then there really wont be that much impact on who he picks. Sure some are better than others, but its not going to matter in the end.

i would say the chances for that are somewhere between zero and none.Yup, we dont need a Palin redux
The sad thing is if she gets booted, there will be a nice job waiting for her.
They have made the National Review mad over not limiting the attacks to Trump.
once you cross into bear creek, all bets are off.

yeah, i am assuming they will roll over for him for the chance at filling ginsburg's seat with another young, federalist society hack.
That works for me.If RBG doesn't make it to November I'm thinking we may be looking at a "Weekend at Bernie's" moment.
A Democratic Party meeting that leaders hoped would project unity weeks ahead of the national convention instead broke out into a behind-the-scenes feud over corporate money in politics.
If only they had “kept it in the family” like those mafiosos on the other side.
I don't think it's a big deal really. There's still plenty of time for the two factions to work on their strategy and iron out the details in order to defeat Trump. If only they had “kept it in the family” like those mafiosos on the other side.
I actually thought about your post earlier in the pandemic...Not sure if anyone remembers, but I made a comment here at least a couple different times - this was after the impeachment had wound up, Biden had emerged as the Democratic nominee, and the economy was clicking away - and some here bemoaned that it appeared unless the economy tanked, things looked very good for a re-elected president.
The comment I made was to the effect there was a lot of time left and something significant was going to happen.
At that time, I had no idea what that would be. Certainly a pandemic wasn't on my radar.
But that is what happened.
I'm not going to comment at this point on anyone's particular chances in the election, but I will say this pandemic really had a hell of an impact. And it ain't over yet.....
We'll see.....94 days left, I think.
Trump has hurt his own chances by constantly opening his yapper. If this pandemic happened in 2012 then I would guarantee two things... 1) the economy would’ve tanked and 2) Obama would’ve won a close election. Trump’s mishandling of the pandemic has forced him into a Hail Mary situation. Had he held fewer briefings, didn’t constantly fight with health experts, and didn’t consistently try to sell people on false hope that there is a miracle drug out there then he probably would be looking at more of a 50/50 chance of winning. Not sure if anyone remembers, but I made a comment here at least a couple different times - this was after the impeachment had wound up, Biden had emerged as the Democratic nominee, and the economy was clicking away - and some here bemoaned that it appeared unless the economy tanked, things looked very good for a re-elected president.
