Congrats to Selma for your 2nd team making the WS.

This expanded playoff is flipping a lot of what should be correct about regular season baseball completely on its head, and in a way it's kind of disappointing even though I'm glad at least one of my teams made it.

As poor as Houston was at home this year, I expected this. Crazy that Houston put about 40 runs on Texas in a three game series last month. But that was in Arlington. I think we’ll see Houston and the Rangers battles for a few years to come.

The Rangers will have DeGrom back next year.

I read this morning Dusty is retiring.

Let’s all pull against the Phillies from here on out.

A little off topic BUT…about 4 years my brother was working on the roof of his house and fell about 25 feet, breaking both ankles. Because of the way he landed and trauma to his mid section, they also did an abdominal CT.

They found an undiagnosed AAA. Took him surgery and fixed both his legs and aorta.

Breaking his ankles in a weird way may have saved him life.

Houston had homefield in the 2019 World Series and 2023 ALS and lost all their home games both times. The opposing starter in both game 7's was Max Scherzer.

at the very least, if the Rangers don't win, I don't have to tolerate having had both my teams knocked off by America's city of low property values & even lower class.

I have to admit that it's kind of delicious to see the Arizona Diamondbacks in Philadelphia receiving the Warren Giles trophy that is named after the father of a former Phillies owner who is still alive.
