I liked Ackland - couldn't have told you his name but he was in a few movies I really enjoyed.
Yeah he was great in Red October......
Oh, man. Read about this last night. I'm a huge Tim Dorsey fan. I started reading his books when I moved to Florida four years ago. Hilarious characters with some quirky history lessons thrown in. I got hooked immediately and tracked down and read all 26 of his books in hardcover, first edition format. Even have seven of them signed. Always look forward to the next Serge and Coleman misadventure. In fact, since the last several books have been released in January of February, I was wondering why I didn't see the next one listed as forthcoming in any online bookstore. Now I know. My daughter loves reading about Serge and Coleman too. She teared up when I told her last night. Sixty-two is way too young. Damn. 😥This one really sucks. Yeah, he’s an Auburn grad, but his books were pure fun, mindless reading about everything absurd and historical about Florida seen through the eyes of a lovable serial killer, Serge Storms, and his always inebriated sidekick Coleman. Reading the books I always pictured the guys from My Name Is Earl as these characters.
