I don't think staff has any concerns at this point, but Williams has been at auburn for their last two home games. He was just there for the Ole Miss game. I know he is a legacy and has ties to the barn so its natural the visits will be happening, but we said the same about Perry Thompson too.
Something to keep an eye on esp. with barn opening the checkbooks to get the top Alabama players (skill positions in particular).

I believe he wants to play for a winning program and realizes Sayin is going to be the future QB and therefore a great opportunity to show case his skills on the national stage. Furthermore, he wouldn't commit this early if didn't consider all those things I mentioned. But with auburn in his ear telling him that he could be the catalyst they need to be relevant again along with the legacy aspect has me worried. Obviously, the NIL angle plays a major part as well. We should be concerned if the visits become more frequent and communication slows down or completely stops between Bama and him.

I disagree…It‘s actually important for many reasons. It sets the tone and trajectory of your adult life. Too many people goof off, and then end up with fewer options for a meaningful career in a field that they want to pursue…and instead, have to take a job that they end up despising.

The way I read it…..he is stating that high school is unimportant…..and that he regrets not realizing this fact (as he sees it) until later in life.
I wasn’t commenting on his personal regret or feelings. I was disagreeing with his premise that high school is unimportant.

I hated we lost the other kid to the Barn.

I really, really don't want to see Williams down there. Rev will eventually sign a decent QB and they'll become more dangerous.

I just hope RW will see Sayin and Bama as a way to the NFL the way Cooper, Ridley, the Rideouts, Metchie and Jamo have gone!

BTW, any update on him becoming a reclassified '24er?
Sooner we can get him in Crimson the better!

Bama does a good job of that. If Williams goes somewhere else it's all about his priorities.

According to Bone, Williams will be in Tuscaloosa for the lsu game.
But wait for it, he plans on being at auburn again for the IB.
As Bone stated and most fans who followed his recruitment knew Williams plans on visiting other schools which he has, Georgia and Texas are among them.
Like I said, if he stops coming to Ttown then start to be concern.
Keep in mind, Williams is a Top 5 recruit in the 2025 class, top schools esp. in-state school like auburn will be coming after him until the ink is dry.
