2025 Recruiting: 2025 Recruiting Targets, II

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Assuming that we will sign our current class, Offense has a chance to be pretty good next year. Defense not so much, especially front 7. We will probably need to sign some stud DL / LB from the portal.
Have you seen the kid that went JuCo but stuck w/us…😳
Someone posted the pic of he and Coach FR…
OMG…

Just watched his junior year highlight video SJC posted and I agree with you Poke about recruitment being similar to Jacobs. In fact, I think his running style looks a lot like Josh's. Good addition to this class.

On seperate note, I saw a Rivals recruiting expert who said there was rumors 5* Dijon Lee was wavering on his commitment but said Dijon squashed those rumors.
I've heard Dijon was solid as concrete on that commitment for awhile now...............some have tried to sway him, but he's sticking

The barn has been relentless on flipping Offord for a while. If they do, it tells you all you need to know about the kid. Leaving Ohio st who actually develops players and is in the midst of a playoff run for a below. 500 team!! They're digging deep into their pockets to get all the top players in the state. I mentioned this in a post comparing Deboer and Freeze recruiting strategies and approached. Not only is auburn taking full advantage of a loaded in- state class, but they want the perception for their desperate fans and the county to think they own the state of Alabama and all the blue chip prospects are flocking to play for auburn over evil Bama. Unlike Bama, even with a first year HC with no southern ties has shown that recuiting nationwide at an elite level has never been an issue, auburn has to resort to local and regional products to fill out their roster. If Deboer is our man for the job, I have full confidence he will inevitably familiarize himself with the state and the region in short order. Freeze better enjoy his advantage while he can before the dysfunctional barners fired him and these highly touted classes never take shape especially in the portal and NIL era.

I think DeBoer is going to manhandle the state in recruiting before its over.............

Colorado doing what Colorado does, “Come here and nobody going to tell you what you can or can’t do.”

Here is an article on current recruits and targets visiting for the Iron Bowl. Derek Smith visiting and probably a long shot to flip him but would be great. Lotzier with a great catch...

looks like we've given up on Terry.

Always possible he shows up for a visit. Also possible he doesn't sign til February. But him not coming back on campus is a good sign hes uga bound.

Fwiw folks have been freaking out for no reason at that position. Its basically the same log jam as wr, we have good players coming in and no freshman dL in the country would be coming and starting year one for us or lilley even breaking 2 deep. As its sits two of our dl are juco guys and will be in a good spot to contribute early

Anyone wanting instant impact for next years dline, watch the portal.
