It must be.Is that percentage breakdown the factor they use to calculate their composite?
Well......when that`s about all you got......As expected Myles Johnson commits to FLA. I'm sure the Gator folks are going to be screaming out loud they flipped a Bama commit LOL.
Agree TJ on your take. The funny thing is Underwood hasn't even attended camps and staying home while Russell is blowing away the competition and just earned his 5th star!!I also believe the fact they had 2 first round WRs taken in the last draft plays into his decision as well. Kids usually remember the latest and greatest , short memory and all. But on the same token, Washington had 2 WRs taken in the first and second round under Deboer's watch. Oh, the conundrum. Lol!!I heard Rodney Orr on WJOX in Bham this morning and he thinks LSWho may be a little ahead of Bama for Meadows commitment. Hope he is wrong and we will see Saturday. They have the #1 QB and overall player in Bryce Underwood committed so that may be the difference maker plus more up front $ possibly.
I agree SJC. On a good note, we just got another CB for Caleb Cunningham from a Miss State insider.Agree TJ on your take. With that said, Alabama has the most WRs in the NFL, Waddle just got one of the most lucrative contracts for a receiver in league history. Finally, Bama has undoubtedly the best QB coming in next year's class. All those factors mentioned will be hard to beat. We will know soon enough if Deboer/Shephard are the difference.
With a confidence rating of 9 out of 10. You don’t see that very much.I agree SJC. On a good note, we just got another CB for Caleb Cunningham from a Miss State insider.
If we can’t have him, I think we would all prefer to lose him to ND than LSU.Recuiting is fluid as they say. Tom Loy , the same scout analysts who believe it was a Bama/ Lsu battle for Meadows is now predicting him to Norte Dame. No surprise, Meadows has been long favored to ND when his recruitment began. Saturday should be fun.
Fwiw, several fans/ insiders close to Russell’s recruiting have been saying he's very vocal/actively recruiting Cunningham and Lockett and have a closer connection with those two than Meadows.Meadows pushed his announcement back to the 20th.
Fwiw. BOL guys have been adamant that we can really only take 3 wrs in this class, not 4. Brooks has a spot. Cunningham is seemingly on board. So its Lockett OR Meadows, I honestly prefer our outlook with Lockett at the moment. Meadows recruitment seems incredibly back and forth with who the other team is.
We will see.
I saw where Keelon was quoted he was actively recruiting Cunningham and Lockett with no mention of Meadows. Lockett has a commitment date of 8/7. We just got another CB for Cunningham from a Miss St insider.Fwiw, several fans/ insiders close to Russell’s recruiting have been saying he's very vocal/actively recruiting Cunningham and Lockett and have a closer connection with those two than Meadows.
Also something to keep in mind, most fans preferred Cunningham and Lockett, who are proven commodities with their on field production, therefore fans know what they are getting. Meadows was on a loaded team last season, so he didn't receive his proper share. His measurable and potential can't be denied, though, hence his lofty rankings.
Brooks runs a 4:40 in the 40 yd dash. Cunningham runs a 4:41. Kobe Prentice runs a 4:38. Ryan Williams runs a 4:41.I saw where Keelon was quoted he was actively recruiting Cunningham and Lockett with no mention of Meadows. Lockett has a commitment date of 8/7. I agree with Poke that Brooks is a take since he can absolutely fly and is a completely different body type than Cunningham, Lockett and Meadows.

I know we fans have been comparing every WRs under 5'10 with speed to Waddle when they commit to Bama, but Brooks could be the closest to Waddle out of all of them. Let's hope so anyway.I saw where Keelon was quoted he was actively recruiting Cunningham and Lockett with no mention of Meadows. Lockett has a commitment date of 8/7. Agreed SJC. It seems MPH is a better way to measure pure speed now as opposed to 40 or 100m. Not too many folks run over 22 MPH as reported below. His highlight video is fun to watch.I know we fans have been comparing every WRs under 5'10 with speed to Waddle when they commit to Bama, but Brooks could be the closest to Waddle out of all of them. I think Jalen Milroe was clocked at 22 mph.Agreed SJC. It seems MPH is a better way to measure pure speed now as opposed to 40 or 100m. Not too many folks run over 22 MPH as reported below. His highlight video is fun to watch.
Brooks, who has been clocked as fast as 22.1 mph, rewrote the South Jersey record books last fall, setting marks for career receiving yards (3,355) and career touchdowns (51) and tying the single-season touchdown receiving record with 22.
And there is this.
In the 2022 NFL season, Kenneth Walker and Parris Campbell were the only two players to run faster than 22 mph, with Campbell's top speed of 22.11 mph ranking fifth-fastest since 2016
The recruiting cycle has changed and moved up for every school . If CNS were still coaching , it would not be any different . If anything , because of carry over , the class might already have 22-23 guys . Maybe even more .We got spoiled, no commitments in days and it seems like a long time since the barrage! Am I wrong or did it seem like Saban got to 20+ commits much later in the year?
