You dont have Kramer watching your back, you have a over zealous loud mouth coach, and Orgeron. It will be interesting to say the least.NM NM
Yeah, JJ puzzles me...He seems like that type that puts himself in some really stupid spots...Unlike people like Nuke or Lemarcus Coker or James Banks, I dont get the impression he's a trouble-maker...He seems like the type to me that will grow up and be successful, and that he's just immature right now...I think the difference in him and the others I named is I dont think the others will ever learn a lesson and I think they are bad news...I'm not sure that's the case with JJ, but the problem is, I don't know if he will grow up fast enough to stay around...There was an interesting post over on the VolChat board about some prior "incidences" with Jackson. If these things are true, and truthfully no one outside of Kiffin, the AD dept, and the KPD, knows for sure, but it seems the kid has some issues that keep putting him in questionable situations, even prior to this one.
Also, what I find it really surprising no one is willing to give NuKeese and the other guy Edwards the benefit of the doubt like they are with Jackson, yet it seems Jackson is no angel either, even by most Vol fans perception. Everyone on their boards are saying, kick the other two off, keep Jackson. All day thats what I've heard and read, even without them knowing all the facts. Yet they were all there and participated in some degree in what happened.
If Kiffin is indeed going to change the "attitude" up there, he is going to have tread carefully on this one, because its clear if he makes the wrong decision in the way its handled, the door is open to further "incidents" without regard to discipline, and this type of thing won't go away.
I think you hit the nail on the head right there. That is what baby Kiff just doesn't get. Coaches are supposed to be men who demonstrate the rewards of hard work and character to their student athletes. Baby Kiff demonstrates a spoiled cry-baby who makes excuses instead of accepting responsibility. It doesn't bother me one bit if UT wants to continue having that dude as the representative of their program. He may get some wins here and there. He almost had one against us. However, he will bring far more embarrassment than any pride a few wins might produce.UT Wildboyz...
Definitely a shame. I agree that it's sad to see kids throw their lives away, but I don't feel for them. When you're that age, you just know better. Really is a shame.
They'll be gone for a good amount of years if convicted. Being homesick and team rules are now the least of their worries.
One other thing, I'd imagine it's a pretty natural thing for some players to not show discipline and good judgment when they see that their coach shows neither as well.
Nah he just likes to drive around in a car full of drugs, and of course likes his weed.Yeah, JJ puzzles me...He seems like that type that puts himself in some really stupid spots...Unlike people like Nuke or Lemarcus Coker or James Banks, I dont get the impression he's a trouble-maker...He seems like the type to me that will grow up and be successful, and that he's just immature right now...I think the difference in him and the others I named is I dont think the others will ever learn a lesson and I think they are bad news...I'm not sure that's the case with JJ, but the problem is, I don't know if he will grow up fast enough to stay around...
I wonder if his talent level has anything to do with thatYeah, JJ puzzles me...He seems like that type that puts himself in some really stupid spots...Unlike people like Nuke or Lemarcus Coker or James Banks, I dont get the impression he's a trouble-maker...He seems like the type to me that will grow up and be successful, and that he's just immature right now...I think the difference in him and the others I named is I dont think the others will ever learn a lesson and I think they are bad news...I'm not sure that's the case with JJ, but the problem is, I don't know if he will grow up fast enough to stay around...

Too funny. And you want to know the funny thing? The getaway car was a Prius. I'm dead serious.
Environmentally concerned armed robbers? That one has got to be a first. Al would be proud... the green revolution is finally touching all aspects of society.
:rofl:All these UT fans arguing that JJ was inside the store and didn't know anything about the robbery. That doesn't pass the smell test.
You pull into a store's parking lot with some friends and go inside. You come back out and your friends are holding a couple of guys at gunpoint. The first words out of your mouth? We've got to go? He knew about the gun, he knew about the robbery, and he knew about the drugs.
I hope they do leave him on the team. I can hear the jokes now....hide your wallet, Jackson's in the game. Don't tackle me, I'm broke. Etc.
Solid. Let's assume that one is more innocent than the others. All three broke team rules and the legal system can pare out the particulars. LK will do himself and his team nothing but harm if any of them play this weekend.IMO there are two things that need to happen. First, Kiffin needs to leave all 3 players in Knoxville for the Ole Miss game. Second, he should keep them on suspension until all the facts are in and a decision can be made as to their guilt or innocence.
We are not saying he's an innocent bystander...He was in the car at 2AM on the Strip, and there was pot in the car...Those two points right there throw out the "innocent bystander" status...We're just saying that there's a very good chance he knew nothing about the robbery (and some info is even saying he tried to stop the other two from doing it)...If the latter is the caes, I do not think that warrants kicking JJ off the teamThis "JJ" is a innocent bystander stuff from the Vol fans sounds more than a little desperate.
