Bama is not loaded at wide receiver. They have one difference maker in Williams. DeBeor will have to hit the portal if Cunningham flips. I think wide receivers are crazy to not sign with Bama knowing that Keelon Russell will be at the helm in two years.

Yea the wiltfong prediction is a lways a good sign. Visit couldn't have gone better and it'll be hard to put that to the back of his mind.

However, as long as we get him on campus for the iron bowl I think we have a shot at keeping him on board, but id say its 50/50 or worse for us at the moment at keeping him.

Not a way to sugar coat that one. Other than brooks our staff got their clocks cleaned in wide out recruiting. Will likely flip Montgomery in the coming weeks but neither he or brooks will contribute next year.

Gotta hit the portal and be willing to spend real money for a difference maker to compliment Williams.

Just keep in mind, the coaching staff has been here less than a year. Give them time to gell and we will see a difference. The off-season will see a significance in WR development in Deboer's system.

Merritt was always going to be tough since he's attached to the area and he has a better opportunity to start sooner than later.Recuiting, you got to love it!!

Agreed totally SJC. We have a very talented WR room and while I would have loved to add Cunningham we are going to be good to go. We may go to portal but definitely not an urgent need IMO and we should spend our $ on other areas of need.

At the moment there's no reason to think he won't come to the iron bowl. So no its not exactly over.

Beat auburn, rush the field, give him 6 figures in NIL....maybe he flips back.

The choice is being part of Kiffin's exciting air raid attack and a team with a running QB, who is the only one likely to sniff an invitation to NYC. Kiffin's wideouts get to actually receive passes. I know we have other, more acceptable QB prospects on board, but there's only so long you can sell the sizzle before you deliver steak. Seeing Bond run that end around last weekend brought back to me his exit statement - "I want to play for a genuine drop-back QB"...
