I don't feel confident he sticks. He's always been the guy in this class we had to keep one eye open despite his " affirmation ". And yes, money is factor.Think he will? They are claiming Ole Miss is offering him the moon

Who would Bama go after should he not stick?I don't feel confident he sticks. He's always been the guy in this class we had to keep one eye open despite his " affirmation ". And yes, money is factor.
Focus on keeping the guys already on the team. You are loaded at the position.Who would Bama go after should he not stick?
I'm sure they will, but it never hurts to have an abundance of richesFocus on keeping the guys already on the team. You are loaded at the position.
Yea the wiltfong prediction is a lways a good sign. Visit couldn't have gone better and it'll be hard to put that to the back of his mind.On 3 board saying he will flip soon.
Lots of smoke.
I'm not as down as some on his flip. The talent is there on the roster. Sheppard will develop the ones we have. I have no doubt about it.. Just keep in mind, the coaching staff has been here less than a year. Give them time to gell and we will see a difference. The off-season will see a significance in WR development in Deboer's system. Not a way to sugar coat that one. Other than brooks our staff got their clocks cleaned in wide out recruiting. Will likely flip Montgomery in the coming weeks but neither he or brooks will contribute next year.
Gotta hit the portal and be willing to spend real money for a difference maker to compliment Williams.

The portal will be a luxury and we'll grab some proven players.
As far as next season goes, the roster will return:
Williams
Bernard
Law
Prentice
Odom
Henderson
Hale
Hamilton
Hampton
Adams
Jefferson
Scott
Obviously the juniors could decide to leave depending on their draft status and transfers are always a possibility, but we should be very excited with the current talent on the team.
Merritt was always going to be tough since he's attached to the area and he has a better opportunity to start sooner than later.Recuiting, you got to love it!!It isn't a killer from a roster spot that us true
But the portal looms, and we need a guy of his build. Id feel better about it if Odom steps up before next season.
My frustration is compounded by the news we may lose Merritt as well.
All WR's have eligibility left.Does Germie have eligibility left?
Agreed totally SJC. We have a very talented WR room and while I would have loved to add Cunningham we are going to be good to go. We may go to portal but definitely not an urgent need IMO and we should spend our $ on other areas of need.I'm not as down as some on his flip. The talent is there on the roster. At the moment there's no reason to think he won't come to the iron bowl. So no its not exactly over.Is he shutting down his recruitment, though? Maybe we can flip him back if he keeps his Iron Bowl visit
The choice is being part of Kiffin's exciting air raid attack and a team with a running QB, who is the only one likely to sniff an invitation to NYC. Kiffin's wideouts get to actually receive passes. I know we have other, more acceptable QB prospects on board, but there's only so long you can sell the sizzle before you deliver steak. Seeing Bond run that end around last weekend brought back to me his exit statement - "I want to play for a genuine drop-back QB"...Not sure why he would flip to Ole Miss. Less exposure and likelihood of championships are minimal. Easier to win a Heisman at Bama than pretty much anywhere else
Recruiting Mississippi kids has been historically tough when Miss/Miss State are also after them...Not sure why he would flip to Ole Miss. Less exposure and likelihood of championships are minimal. Easier to win a Heisman at Bama than pretty much anywhere else
