8 from SEC

I just can't see anyone leaving AU, TENN, LSU, or UA out of the dance. I think UT goes because of Slay, UA because RPI, AU because of record, and LSU because they finished so strong and took out Zona.

Of course, politics and bad finishes by any of the 4 could spell disaster for someone. I fell the strongest chance for going of all the teams goes to LSU, then UT, then UA, then AU. The committee could knock it down to 7 and leave AU out or 6 and leave UA and AU out.

I would love to see Bama take LSU, but on the road and with so much on the line for LSU, I think we will go down by 10-12. MSU will take AU and Bama will need to and will will go 2-1 in the SEC. This should get us in as one of 7 or 8 SEC teams. (8 is my guess.)

I really don't see UT getting in....just due to the fact that they are struggling down the wire.....and their RPI doesn't do much for them either.

Auburn will get in now, after the Arkansas Victory, because if they beat MSU, they are the #1 seed in the west, and they'd have to get in......

I see 7 SEC, we have to get in due to RPI and SOS......LSU gets in if they win 2 in the SEC Tourney, if not, they don't get in.

We are the 6th team in, LSU would be 7, and UT would be 8......

Nice thought. But not reality. Maybe.

But, this year could be a better year for it to happen. The ACC is way off (look at their NC's vs. SEC)....the Big 10 turns out to be nothing.

Who knows.
