I really feel for Jalen in all the goings on lately. He never has received the support of the entire Bama nation. I think what everyone needs to understand is Jalen was a master at running the ball and the offense around him was built to heighten his talents. After a while other teams figured out his lack of passing ability (ie. decision making on passes beyond 20 yards). Now it appears the pendulum is swinging back to a more pass oriented offense because Tua has the tools to do that. Unfortunately it comes down to a business decision and Jalen is lost in the shuffle. Regardless of what happens in the future I was always appreciate what Jalen did to get us as far as we got in his time here.

I have to disagree here. Jalen had the overwhelming support of most of Bama nation. He was being called the next "D.Watson". Did he literally have the support of every single Bama fan? No. But to blame his struggles on the lack of support from Bama nation is reaching, A LOT. What happen to Jalen is what happens to a lot of very talented athletes the higher they get into their sport. Opposing teams figure out what "you" do best, adjust then force "you" to adjust. Jalen hasn't been able to adjust. It's that simple. Until he proves he can adjust, he's a one trick pony that has had his one trick figured out.
I couldn't adjust to the slider and the curve on the college level. It's why I'm an accountant and not getting a retirement check from MLB. This is the outcome of most athletes. They finally hit their ceiling and have to get "real jobs". LOL!
I'm not bitter at all. :biggrin2:
