This is the sort of thing that will happen to a fanbase when you take the ONLY thing away from them that truly matters. For the boogs, the ONLY thing that truly matters to them is beating Bama. We didn't act this way during the Shula years when they were winning 6 in a row because Bama doesn't define itself with what happens in the Iron Bowl. Sure, it royally sucked to lose 6 in a row to those clowns, and many of us said some silly things, but we knew there would be brighter days.

The barn, OTOH, absolutely define themselves (sports programs, school, fanbase) by what transpires at the University of Alabama. So when the reality of domination looms, and our coach (who they detest) goes and takes the cream of their recruiting class, you get the cockroaches crawling from beneath the rotting barn to spew their hate and venom. And they truly hate us.

Not scoring a single offensive point in 2 of the last 4 Iron Bowls, and losing the last two at THEIR place has to just crush them. This, and knowing deep down in their pathetic little hearts that brighter days are NOT on the horizon for them. These are great times to be Bama fans folks......GREAT times.

They sure were brushing Michael Dyer off as yesterday's news a week ago when he had that mary jane test knowing that Yeldon was going to be coming in...wonder how much crow they'll eat to keep him from leaving.

Here is a quote from AUFamily.com:

"The Pony Express lives in UAT. I have followed college football for a long time and I have never seen so many kids switch commitments like I have seen these last three years. I know kids are just that Kids and can be wishy washy but nothing like what we are seeing. Not only are they switching commitments but they are doing it after they have publicly commited to various schools. I hope our coaching staff along with others around the SEC have turned those cheating blank blanks in to the NCAA. I find it very offensive that with everything that has gone on from pulling kids out of class to work out, to getting your picture taken talking to a recruit during the no contact period, to kids getting on National TV and say they are going here or there and within a few hours magically have a change of heart and enroll at UAT. Were is the NCAA in all of this? "

They forgot Cam wanted to go to MSU but changed to AU. Bunch of losers.

A great recruit for the Tide. Seeing all the rants from the Barners just makes it that much sweeter. Lucking out and winning a championship by the Barners was a anomoly that gave the barners a false sense of securinty that they were on the level of Alabama. Their meltdown started this year and will continue next year.

When money is being brought up, you then have to look at which school makes the most sense for the player to go to, for suspicion sake. Last year I might have said Auburn with Dee Hart on board, but this year it's no doubt Alabama. Trent is gone, our last two RB recruits (one in HS) have had serious knee injuries, we are stable with Saban's offense, and we are putting backs in the pros now. Auburn seems to be in a crises of a mysterious magnitude. Both coordinators are gone from Auburn and their last superstar RB recruit is suspended and has been unhappy at Auburn. There is a 50/50 chance that Chizic is not there after two seasons imo.

If you look at the big picture, it seems wise for Yeldon to switch and nothing at all is suspicious about it considering the week Auburn just had. To the contrary, with Dyer and other backs on the roster or recruited when he picked Aubie, it seemed odd that he choose Auburn. But proximity might have been the reason for that.

I do believe Auburn is cheating. If Bama was, with Saban's already talents, we would not be losing some of the players we do, which is normal for a clean team. I remember when Dubose was signing the top defensive front four in the nation and early too. That brought up red flags, so getting 1 out of five blue chip prospects, of whatever it is, if fine with me. Especially when our 3 star athletes turn out so well.

How quickly they forget that Cyrus and Brent were committed to Bama before them... and how they're other top recruit from last year, Westerman, was committed to Texas. Why would anyone want to go there? They just lost their O and D coordinators, who would wanna play for Chizik and Trooper?

Oh well, I certainly won't lose any sleep over this episode.

Frankly, I have grown accustomed to this sort of thinking from SEC fans of every school, including Alabama. Read those posts and then think back about the things that Bama fans said during the Cam Newton "episode". A kid chooses a school other that the one that we love and there must have been some sort of "payoff". Sad.

These are kids. Leave them alone.
Newton's father solicited money from Miss. St. That isn't "thinking" it is a fact. Big difference

Cyrus was never committed to Bama. He was silent through his entire recruiting process then picked Auburn. Everyone just assumed he was a Bama lock leading up to the announcement.

i really don't understand the type of thinking that goes on to curse out an 18 year old for changing his mind. I'm sure plenty of Tide fans act the same way but folks gotta get themselves in check. I wasn't happy to see Keenan Allen go to Cal but I certainly wouldn't be putting a voodoo curse on him either...same with Ricky Parks, Rushel Shell and any other guy that has Bama in final 5 but goes elsewhere. We're dealing with 17-19 year old kids making a really big decision...hell, maybe their FIRST really big decision in their lives. If 40-something guys like Todd Graham can't stay committed at $2M/yr why do Barners think a teenager has to be paid or coerced in any way?

Isn't it strange how some insightful fan says "must have paid him $200K" and all of the sudden this is rock solid lead? I will purchase my *U family members some tin foil for Christmas because I am quite certain they will be talking about this all night.

Auburn, the embodiment of hypocrisy.

This group of people with questionable intelligence give Alabama and the SEC a bad name whenever they pontificate about the goings on at Bama. These people are sad and pathetic and in their time of indignation, I can't help feel intoxicated at their anger.
