Test scores are not the reason he decided to come to Bama. I just did some quick checking. Althought AU has no written requirement for the ACT. Some Students get in with as low as an 18 on the ACT. I think they prefer a 21 score. 79% of those who applied to for entrance into Auburn university were accepted as compared to only 54% of those that applied to Bama. These numbers tell me it is easier to get into Auburn than Alabama.
those are not good criteria for determining whether a school is easier or harder to get into, i wouldnt rely on that as basis for an opinion.

One thing about Coach Saban, he does not recruit dumb kids. He runs some of the most complicated offensive and the defenses he runs are the same ones that confuse Peyton Manning. Do they have to be eloquent public speakers and mathematical whizzes, no? But they better be intelligent or else they will be introduced to the process.

How about taking a look at Craig Sanders and Corey Grant. Both just up and changed to the barn. One after spending a year at Bama.
Yes, and I have good reason to believe that the towel guy and auburn was making contact with Grant while he was at Alabama

hey, i found the website that has those same exact numbers for acceptance rates:

http://collegeapps.about.com/od/collegeprofiles/p/u-alabama.htm

i
t[/URL] wont be very popular for me to point this out, but if you examine the rest of the data from that website, it shows that the average act scores for those admitted actually come from the other school on the eastern side of the state. sorry.

It is a sad commentary when the boog fans who swear to it, but do not uphold the Auburn Creed.:rolleye2:

I think the rank and file moved away from the *U Creed decades ago. They use the "Assassin's Creed" now, 'Everything is permitted, nothing is true'. Hmmmmm.

Yet, Alabama is ranked ahead of Auburn academically. Which, in the long run, is all that matters.

Getting back to the thread, I just browsed around on ITAT for awhile and they are going absolutely ballistic about Yeldon, wishing all kinda of bad things to happen to him from STD to broken legs, and naturally Bama is cheating their *** off, buying off coaches, donating huge amounts of money to his HS. Some are even wanting *U to start a club that's equivalent to the REC, since that's where Bama is getting the money to buy all these recruits. It's pretty funny, but sad at the same time.

I only have one thing to say to anybody at Auburn: you have 20 more days to enjoy that trophy y'all take cow tipping. Clean the cow chips off, remove the toilet paper from it, and get it down to New Orleans preferably a few days early. We have a nice reserved spot for it in Tuscaloosa safe out of the rain and the residue from hay rides.

Dismissed.

Actually, quite a few of these guys are astute at "game theory" and are pretty darn good at math. Saban's schemes have the complexity of chess, Go, and tabletop war games.

The extent of the paranoia down at Auburn is truly mind boggling.

Having now read some of the posts from Auburn forums, it strikes me as a mass pathology, and one that is borderline dangerous.

These guys want to investigate Yeldon's family's real estate records?
Are you kidding me?

But maybe the most pitiful statements were the ones about Alabama playing a 7th SEC game 40 years ago. It was an option that all SEC programs had.
(Hey Auburn: When you win them *all* it doesn't matter how many you schedule.)
That's almost a half-century of pent-up bitterness.
I would almost feel sorry for them if they weren't so blasted belligerent.

I agree 100% with ya..When fans start wishing for a recruit to blowout a knee cause he chose another school..That's as sorry as it gets..I didn't think I couldn't hate auburn anymore than I already did..
