Super Bowl 2025: Eagles' DeVonta Smith joins elite club of Heisman, national championship winners

Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith can now etch his name among the all-time greats with Philadelphia's 40-22 win over Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Smith is now just the fifth player and first receiver ever to win the Heisman Trophy, a college national championship and the Super Bowl.

Charles Woodson was the last to accomplish the trifecta when he won a Super Bowl ring with the Packers in 2011, joining Tony Dorsett, Marcus Allen and Reggie Bush on the list.

Hurts and Devonta become the first QB/receiver combo to win both the National Championship and Super Bowl together.
Hurts also 1 of 3 QBs to win a National Championship and a Super Bowl. The other 2 Joe Montana and Joe Namath.
