The most frustrating part about this is that the replay officials don't know the rules. It's very straightforward.. http://www.foxsports.com/college-fo...s-refs-calls-rules-replay-mike-pereira-112914
Is it always doom and gloom on the game threads? I don't visit that often during the games so I'm curious.
That really bugs me with instant replay. It stops the flow of the game, and they still don't get the call right half the time. Anyone with eyes could see that Sylve had the ball. It should have been an interception, but they gave the ball to the offensive player when he only had one hand on it. In the LSU-A&M game there was a very weak targeting call that I thought they would reverse, but they upheld it. It happens all of the time. The most frustrating part about this is that the replay officials don't know the rules. Seeing the reviews of the interception that wasn't for Sylve and evidently the rule is the player that touches the ground first when both players are in the air is awarded the ball. It should have been called an INT. Blown call that could have cost is the game. This is opinion of Mike Pereira among others.
I'll admit, at halftime I didn't think we had much of a chance to win. When we threw a pick on the first drive of the 3rd, I said "Game Over". Still can't believe we turned it around so quickly and so decisively. The interception by Nick Perry was huge and I think really keyed the whole turnaround. We got a ton more pressure on Marshall with the d-line in the 2nd half, and Sylve played the game of his life off the bench. Then its like we just flipped the switch on O and it was over for them. All of the seemingly stupid, cutesy play calls turned into offensive brilliance after the break, and besides the opening drive pick, Sims was absolute gold down the stretch. Cooper was incredible as usual and Yeldon looked like a man possessed in the run game.
What a complete team win, I've never seen anything like it. These guys just will not be denied. I think you could put them up against ISIS with nothing but pocket knives and they'd come out on top in the end. Unbelievable.
What an embarrassment for our state

Good Post. BTW, I wish I had my 54 yr old heart, rather than my 75 year old pump...![]()
Watching the replay of Finebaum's show..... Greg is a natural at this. He needs to eventually be calling games. He is breaking down the plays perfectly.
If only fans from both sides would resist the urge to call in to his show. I get it that's how Finebaum makes a living but man, I wish someone/something would make it stop.
What a terrible rumor, but I wouldnt put it past ITAT or the Bunker. They'll do whatever it takes to defame the Tide and its fanbase.
Gus is such a sore loser
I completely agree. The decision to go deep to Coop really was a game changer and it opened up the running game. Hats off to Kiffin. One thing we need to do is show appreciation for Lane Kiffin... He got us points that we needed to win the game. I"m not sure we could get this many points against Auburn like that with previous OC, Nuss. We finally got our running game going, Just so proud of the team. Game ball goes to Slyve, Yeldon, Cooper and.... OL line.
